More likely to be buying the club, than managing the players on the field..

It is nice, via this link to see a team getting ready for the new season, keeping the fans up to date with developments, open and honestly. I think it is a poor show by Kings Lynn to share very little at this stage, 4 weeks from the first friendly of the new season. Maybe Wisbech can teach us a few things about media management and broadcast. We may have a non experienced Chairman and Manager but surely we have a media secretary that should be "pumping out" any news at this stage, at regular frequency. Come on guys, indicate to us a little respect and professionalism.

It is a step down, the travel is more reserved but limits opponents to the Midlands, with little adventure. Oh dear, it suggests that the club is no more at a national level but regional. Rushden and Kettering apart, it is boring. That play off really did change the club profile...

The Tiverton match report is fine, and therefore, there is no need to moan about the local "non existent" report. Lynn tried to play them at their own game,  but failed to lock down a passing period of play due to opposing enthusiasm and relentless individual pressure. Nice place, people and club. Fair result.

Good game , and a job done without much physical stress, and reasonable results elsewhere , downside was Dunstable arrived with 3 fans, they may of had a few pints, but did not deserve what some Lynn fans directed at them. Indeed they should have been welcomed and applauded for their loyal support of a team in difficult times. They were of the right humor until the incident and were absolutely no problem at all. ...Think!!!!! ....

Just not good enough, Lynn have a squad with loads of Norwich history etc etc , but , as Weymouth display the others also have resources from Norwich's level. Play offs will be difficult to achieve on current form and "blinkered" selection.

No you cannot blame the pitch for that goal against, however what Culverhouse eludes to , I suggest, is that there would be more potential home goals if the pitch was playable , to the players quality.

A high water table is not the issue, by its nature, generally, an area of high water level is normally surrounded by good drainage options as seen in the Walks area with the Gaywood river  close by and directed to the Ouse..Other land in the walks vicinity is in better shape then the football ground. Attleborough may have a different problem but it is far from the Walks where football has previously had , a ever great but, better playing facility. Work the pitch and location and football can remain for many an year, NO EXCUSES....

The pitch was already a mess this just compounds the problem, had it been maintained better there would have been more optimism

26.12.2017 Culverhouse to EDP...
“The state of that pitch is a leveller. The pitch is absolutely shocking, it is a disgrace. There’s no home field advantage – we haven’t got it. The pitch isn’t good enough.

“We can’t do anything with it, The money wasn’t spent on it that should have been spent on it, You saw us at the start of the season how we got the ball down and try and play.”

Culverhouse wouldn’t be drawn on whether the surface could be the undoing of the club’s promotion hopes, but it certainly won’t help. Even Lynn’s goal came from a set-piece, the mud unable to take the sting out of Simon Lappin’s superb left-foot free-kick on the half-hour mark.

Having read all of this , it must be noted that the burgers are nice...these do contribute to cash flow , whilst the muddy grass does not.

Lynn must be favorites on a pitch that will be worse than it was against Redditch ..Culverhouse had to change his plan, to suit the pitch, and it worked. Slough play at home on a carpet so the Walks should be a big advantage to Lynn.
