General Discussion / Who to keep, who to let go.« on: May 10, 2022, 05:22:07 PM »
There are many more qualified than me to answer this question. In my knowledge which basically stems from listening to Radio Norfolk, I would keep. Jones, Jones, Coulson, Denton, Hargreaves, Barrows, obviously Clunen, please keep Barratt, he will have a field day against lesser defenders. The lesser known players I don’t really know. Omatayo seems to have upped his game since TW arrived, but we do need more fire power up front. How many of these are end of season loans I do not know. Is Gyasi coming back, seems to have done ok at Dover. We still have McFadden, a class act, and Cameron King, in the reckoning.

Really excellent win today. Pity it was only in front of a paltry 900+ crowd.

Prediction for tomorrow- 0 2 circa 2,3 4 .. Relegation nearer. Lets be honest, we cant compete in this league, against these ex. League teams. They have have more goal scorers than we have players.

The next two games will probably confirm our chances of survival. If points are gained against these "league teams" then there is hope. If we get stuffed then there is only one way we are going. I must admire the supporters who travel to away games hoping for a win. Aldershot on Saturday was superb, can we carry this on against higher opposition, who knows. A week today we will have a clearer picture of what the future holds.

Joe Taylor on for Peterborough v Stoke . Not good enough for Lynn but good enough for the Championship, strange that.

Just chucking this out there. Im just wondering, with all the flack that SC gets; in the past history is there a chairman who could have done better. Who could have handled the club better, pumped more money into it. Took it to where it is today. I dont have enough local knowledge to know this, but it seems that he gets criticism whatever he says or does. I dont know what fans expect from a little o'l Norfolk club. We are on the road map of England on the the road to nowhere, Motorways...nil, rail to London, as and when. Who in their right mind would move to Lynn when there are numerous other clubs with much better travel links to London, Manchester etc. I live near Setchells Bedford, can be in London in half an hour. Who would you choose if you had family in the smoke.Give SC a break hes doing his best. N B Taylor on bench for Peterborough again today. See the comments on the main page has been disabled. Cricket score today I’m afraid.

Got to agree really. Club going nowhere. Lots of rhetoric, no real substance, just b!ubber. Players coming in, injured, weight issues or off loads from other clubs. No real strike force despite weeks of trying to find one or two. Players on loan, not getting any game time. Doesnt seem any direction from manager only rhetoric about what he is going to do. About time time he delivered something other than talk talk. The team seem to be aboard a ship with no captain.
