Hopefully get one of my local teams, Biggleswade Town or FC, but then we are probably classed as Southern. Just as Hereford Gloucester and Leamington are classed as Northern?

General Discussion / Re: Chester away« on: September 01, 2022, 06:14:24 PM »
Getting more optimistic as the games go by. I dont think TW and the lads will want to travel back from Chester having being beaten or even drawn. I'm going for 0 - 3, to continue our hold on top place. Chester not the team they were a few years ago. Lynn are going to be on the up, especially after last Monday's result. TW will have them up for it, not to let it slip now. The more points we get in the bank now, the less the effect will be if we slip up against the stronger teams in the weeks to come.

When you have someone in your squad who can do that, then thank your lucky stars.

Let’s enjoy it while it lasts. Hopefully to the end of the season. TW certainly has got the lads giving it everything in a positive way. There seems a different attitude this season than last, the time under IC anyway. Gold a different player, Pontacelli looks very promising. Every player giving 100%, good to see, good to support.

General Discussion / Re: Blyth lose manager« on: August 10, 2022, 01:38:23 PM »
Its the old adage, fans will support a winning team. If we do well in this league and are winning matches, the the fans will return. Very few will want to go week in week out to support a team that is constantly losing games. If/when we are flying near the top of the league, then hopefully we will get the 1500 ish + we used to get years ago. Then hopefully, not these days obviously, there will.be room to roll a fag standing in front of the main stand.

Quite agree Mallard, next couple of games will give us a benchmark as to where we are. Putting my head on the block, I think we are going to be up there and vying for top spot during the season.

More positive news from the club. Really good TW has agreed an extension. Shows he is committed to KLFC, and I for one am looking forward to the forthcoming season.

Saturday wiil be the litmus test of the season to come. We have come through pre season quite well...now the games to come, something tangible, ie 3 points, is at stake. I'm optimistic that that we are going to do really well this season. TW has HIS team now, so i just hope we get the attendances that the team hopefully deserve.
