I don't understand how we remained in tier2 for as long as we did considering the QEH has almost double the number of Covid positives as at the peak of the first wave.

Torquay not being very complimentary on their forum regarding the pitch at the Walks.
"Mudheap" and "worst in the National Leage" are just two comments.
Thankfully Torquay Manager viewed matters differently and is more realistic about the reason behind the points being shared.

With that as an excuse we'd be top of the league ourselves if it weren't for that damn pitch. Poor losers some of those fans. I think our groundsman does a great job considering the continual rain we've had. I haven't been able to cut my grass since early September.

I don’t think it was just the water logging. I suspect they didn’t want our team of Centre-halves, full backs, defensive “holding” midfielders, and goalkeeper to mess their penalty areas up for the rest of the season !
In that respect I suspect Tottenham v Arsenal will be postponed too

Have to feel for the club - best cup draw we could have had at this stage (Notts County at home) and no fans allowed
Hopefully TV money will be forthcoming for this fixture

Here's a thing. Altrincham put York City out of both the FA Cup and FA Trophy in November. Now the play off semi final. All at York.

Well I'll tell you what the Queen would say. She'd be 'shocked and saddened'. It's not good at all.

I will be really surprised if they go with the PPG model.
What alternatives do you see B and G for determining promotion and relegation if null and void isn't used ?
Kes, just a little side note.
When Setch's lads won the title in 2012-2013, if the league had been cancelled with 8 games to go and it had been decided on PPG, Coalville would have been declared Champions.
Coalville would have finished with 2.23
Lynn would have finished with 2.17
And last season with 8 to go. Stourbridge would have joined Kettering Town promoted. Stourbridge 2.00 King's Lynn 1.76 So we mustn't complain too much

Absolutely brilliant. Video any games and you'll have a good audience.

Perhaps the decision makers would like to refund the clubs of all the money they'd invested to get into promotion spots.

Well Mall, if Lynn should play Gloucester on Monday night, and lose, then Lynn' s points per game ratio falls below that of York.
If we lost to Gloucester. Yes. By 1/50th of a point per game. York 1.9411 Lynn 1.9393. Best we don't go to Gloucester
