When they beat us 3-0 I figured we'd been found out and were in a false position. How thrilled am I to have been wrong. Unbelievable this side are.

.. and maybe the illustrious “bucket collection” which I’ve still not seen!
Was in the club shop bar on Saturday, on the table as soon as you go in ... keep hold of your ££ it is there  :countingmoney:

A bucket in a bar. Wow the times I could have used one of those.

Seriously concerned that the bubble will ultimately burst when Ian Culverhouse moves on to pastures new. Still, nothing good lasts forever. And we should all enjoy it while we can.

This just happened.

Noooo. Oh nooo. That means Pep is gonna be looking to sign Adam Marriott in the January window. Who to feel most sorry for. Us Lynn fans or Gabriel Jesus?

I hope we give them a right good hiding. I've still not forgiven them for taking George Thomson off our hands

The brothers would be such a tough act to follow. Much as Ian would be here. Doesn't Simon Clark have Lincoln connections? :laughcry:

It will be and interesting evening with the top four playing each other. Guiseley entertain York City. Hope we have Adam Marriott back, not that we done too bad without him on Saturday but Alfreton will be a different proposition.

As a few of you will know, Dean Saunders was in attendance on Saturday, watching his son play.
(that makes me feel old)
Few of us had a good chat with him after the game.
He thought Gash was the difference. He was impressed by his work. He thought Lynn were a good side.
A comment I didn't agree with was "Don't try and play football, get it to Gash, he will win you games"

I think we are all enjoying the combination of the two football and Gash (sounds like a Saturday night back in the day :-)
Top bloke thou.

Yes those Saturday nights. You wouldn't want to get one of those ladies preggers 'cos in those days you were obliged to Marriott

One defeat doesn't tell us an awful lot. Guiseley may well be the best team in the division for all we know. But then again....

*We lost 0-3 to Hitchin last season that didn't make us a bad side. We didn't do too bad after all.

Why do people think the NP league will be so “physical” ?  It’s a higher league than recent seasons, which usually/ always means better players.  That’s what we need to compete.

:oldman" Having watched  Conference North and Northern Premier league football over many years, l have to say that in general Northern football in non league terms is definitely more physical that the Southern equivalent.  :oldman"

Don't worry about our lads. I think they have been in Portugal preparing for the North. From the images I have seen I believe they are definitely coming off the shandy and are moving on to real beer.

Anybody unhappy with the increases has little thought for the chairman who is putting his hand in his pocket week in week out to provide us a good entertaining squad

An announcement that will put "King's Lynn on the map!"  I wonder?

Going to get the A47 dual carriageway. :laughcry: :laughcry: :laughcry:

They could do the A17 while they're at it. Come to think of it duelling the town by pass would be a bonus.

:scarf: Could we not run a car boot sale on a  Sunday morning through the summer, l know the pitch needs protecting but hard summer pitches could I'm sure take the weight of a normal family car. Just look at the amount of people drawn to the car boot on a Sunday morning at Knight's Hill, open the burger bar no caterers allowed ,all profits to KLTFC.  Consult with the groundsman as to when to stop these allowing time to get the pitch pristine before pre season. I know this will not be popular with some but just floating an idea.

A car boot sale on the pitch. You'll give groundsman Steve Curtis palpitations. lol
