If its a former Coalville player it would likely be Dan Creaney who has scored 4 goals for them since mid Feb resulting in at least 3 wins. Hmmm

Not a bad punishment 3 points then....

Now there's talk that Stratford wont be punished. If they did field an illegible player then they should have points deducted. Banbury United were deducted 4 points for that reason earlier in the season. If there is no punishment why would the FA/Southern League want cause all this mayhem for all 4 clubs.

Now the Corns at Southern League headquarters are playing rock, paper, scissors to see what to do next.

If Stratford get only a 3-4 point deduction we'll wonder why all the fuss has been made.

So it's Wednesday morning and we still don't know what went on at the FA meeting. I assume the FA couldn't make a decision and told all 4 clubs that they'd 'sleep on it' and get back to you all by mid day today.

As the NPL semis are tonight (why are they earlier than SPL) then I suppose it's too late.

You'd have thought the 2 leagues would have got their heads together regarding play offs. The NPL final is on the 4th which is two days ahead of any potential final we may have reached. Which is before the current complications. Stourbridge are now in talks with FA unhappy with their postponement.

Awkward situation all round. If Stratford were deducted only 3 points Coalville could argue that if they'd been made aware sooner they could have "tried harder" for the 3 points in their last game. Shocking consequences for the time frame for the games. As if its not bad enough that the NPL Final is 2 days sooner than the SPL so the winners will have less time/rest to prepare.

The SPL play off winners will get less rest for the Super Play Off Final as the NPL Final is contested two days earlier.

General Discussion / Adam Marriott

Adam Marriott Golden Boot winner with 24 league goals. Considering he didn't play for Lynn until 9 games in (13th Oct) a marvellous achievement.  Debuted v Stratford Town at home coincidently

Do we know if any players are close to a suspension ? I recall Gash and Henderson picking up a few yellows recently.
Do the points accumulated get wiped off once we get to the play offs ?

The players are allowed 15 bookings and Rory is still the nearest to that on 10. So should be good for the Play offs.
