Has to be in doubt......nasty storm this one ,gales and heavy rain on the Sunday, slightly less windy and heavy rain Monday. If it does go ahead, will be difficult playing conditions, if forecast proves to be correct.

Anyone know if Kelly is fully fit now ?
He was an automatic pick before his injury.
Think Lynn will need to get the most out of him and Southwell and Hawkins and Ward and Carey, and the 2 Norwich loanees as well as the rest of the current starting 11, to win the league... everyone needs to be firing on all cylinders. That might mean giving them a bit more game time going forward (?)

WLM, I feel you made a fair point.
Clubs generally are quite poor in providing updates on injuries. It would be nice to get updates on them more often eg how is Micheal Clunan getting on....and certainly if there is to be a collection, then sufficient detail needs to be "out there"

Agree L L, the fans ideally should show the same spirit amongst themselves and with the squad, that the management and squad share. Nothing is more important than the players within the squad...they are the ones that have got the club where it is.

What will be important is to get the core of the squad committed to the club for the next 2 years, if and when it becomes clear that we may go up. Players heads may be turned by playing against players on full time packages.

There are a number of hybrid clubs, who are no longer classed as part time outfits, but train say 3 nights a week, but are not fully full time,  eg Dover..I believe.....have only one player who has another job, from what I have read... assume this is still the case.
So guess part time at first, gradually moving to the hybrid model and maybe eventually after a number of years full time. This is all far in the future tho.... let's win the league first !

This last one could be a handful today, if he plays as he's massive... 6ft 6 ins, former cricketer, brother of Steve Harmison.
Blyth will be very different to the last time we played them...they have gone down the big, physical route with recent signings, in an effort to climb up the league
