Top of the league, lots of media coverage this week, Norwich away, I'm hopeful.

I too think a run in the FA Trophy would be good.
However, fans perhaps need to adjust their thinking a little following promotion to step 2. Conference North is unusually laden with 'big ' clubs. Every league game is a bit like a big cup game would have been when the club was in step 3 or 4.
There aren't many clubs in step 1, that are significantly bigger than York, Chester, Hereford etc.
The key has to be (along with improved commercial sponsorship), getting big enough league attendances.
All cup matches have split gate receipts, which can put a big dent in the income from a home tie.

What do we think in terms of attendance ?

I would be surprised if Hereford bring more than 50, so I am hoping for at least 1250 in total.
Gate receipts are shared, I believe, so the 3750 for winning will be important I guess.

I believe it was said to be a viral condition. I seem to recall IC saying that he was hopeful Harry would be back training soon once Doctor's clearance was given.

So Ross Barrows as centre half presumably.
Would personally play Gash up front. Would also like to see Hawkins feature at some stage. Seems sensible to give him some more minutes, so that we have a prepared striker replacement, if required for future games.

Guess it's about the time of week when we start discussing possible line ups  :laughcry:

Yes Mike, but even so, they average well over 2000 a home game, so struggling to fill a coach of 26 speaks volumes about the mood at the club. They have had some really poor results recently, so pressure on players and manager....could be a tough old game. Seems to be huge disquiet among a section of the fans re the Board/structure etc

Hopefully there will be a good sized crowd for this one.
Had hoped for a decent away contingent, but their supporters' trust have organised a 26 seater coach and there are still places available !

Well here is a heaven sent opportunity. Adam Marriott's goal v Southport, probably non league goal of the season and already 167 K views, could go viral.
C' mon Mars.
Can just see the  goal footage, followed by Adam  and the boys scoffing a Mars Bar. "Mars, helps you excel...or whatever is the modern day equivalent of "work, rest and play".
Need to make the most of this opportunity KLTFC

Yes and has been picked up by Jake Humphrey.... number of views of the goal standing at 147 K as I write.

Or keep admission the same but offer free mulled wine (in a paper cup of course) or a free mince pie.

In addition to word of mouth, maybe volunteers who live in the town could ask to put up posters in local shops and do
some leaflet drops to homes, varying the area each week.
Does the club maximise the local far as I am aware, coverage in local papers is very good, bbc local radio gives reasonable exposure, does KLFM give regular "plugs' ?
Pyramidal marketing theory tends to suggest though that the best way to increase your client numbers is by focusing the majority of your energies on those who already come and like your product....they will naturally tell friends, who trust their judgement and from there things can it is vital that everyone on here spreads the word to family and friends and work colleagues. Just think how many people each of you meet each week, who aren't currently attending matches. Multiply that by the few hundred on here regularly and suddenly attendances jump
The newcomers enjoy the experience and tell their friends and family and so on........ it's the first bit that takes the most effort, so come on guys spread the word.

What a brilliant, brilliant effort, by the whole club.
Fully agree with your post Stan. Would also like to add the words passion and resolve to the mix. Keep going SC, the town of King's Lynn needs something really positive to get behind and whilst it can seem incredibly hard work to energise the place, I sense that just like a big long ship in the Ouse, momentum in the town is finally starting to twitch and turn more in your and the club's favour.
Just a  very polite word to any so called "stay-away" fans.
Guys, reflect a moment, this is possibly the best footballing team ever seen at The Walks.......and you are the ones missing out. Please come and see for yourselves.
