Just shows AL is not perfect and he does get it wrong sometimes.
I don’t think anyone thought that was the case though. Homepage needs updating to say that Hargreaves was a departure as he’s not on the list.

Shambolic second half.
How do you go from 11 games unbeaten to that?
No excuses.

Club has just announced new investment in the club, on Facebook. I must admit I have never heard of them. :
As if you're not clued up on all Asian companies.

What an absolute waste, AL on record saying he wanted to have competition at wing back then only brought Jones into the starting XI when Clifford got injured yet clearly a better option and I thought Isaacson did a good job when brought in early in the season due to suspension/international duty yet is loaned out. Appreciate AL sees all players in training but I think he has got this one wrong
I disagree. I thought he looked off the pace and needed game time at a lower level to get accustomed to this league. Especially given we are in a relegation dogfight.

Changes? Both full backs have struggled all season and don't look as though they are up to this level. Is Isaacson ready yet? Good potential The jury is out for the moment. Midfield looks better with Hargreaves but without Spence or Smith, so we need Hughes fit and two more new midfielders. Barrett looks good up front but can't be everywhere, needs support. Stephens struggles to keep pace and has missed some sitters. Mr Cleeve needs deep pockets to support new recruits good enough for this level. Shopping list: Two new experienced wing backs, Two new experienced midfielders. One new striker (or two if Barrett returns to attacking midfield). On another subject, was it a good decision to pay players in the womens league? Latest embarrassing result 0 - 13 against Bedford. Thoughts?
Agree on the women's football front. It's the latest trend and without sounding controversial, for a non-league team is it worth the time/effort/money?

Great result today, huge 3 points.
What would you do to the squad if you were Lakeland?
At the very least I’d try get a striker who can actually hold the ball up and contribute over 90 minutes.
I don’t think Cybulski is the answer & Bartley hasn’t looked any better!

If we could exchange Barrett, Stephens and Ponticelli for one recognized goalscorer, I personally would do it.......but given their form , it's probably not.
Interesting comment!
I wonder if we will hear something along those lines soon.
Apparently Barrett alone is valued at 100k
£100k or 100,000 lbs?

My two cents on the squad:
- Bartley is atrocious
- Smith and Spence aren't good at anything, Hargreaves looked twice the player and did more yesterday
- Oke is fairly solid but a bit like Bambi on ice
- Cybulski isn't good in the air and offers very little
- Coulson's legs have gone, the mistake yesterday which led to their goal was shocking and he deserved to be punished a second time
- Isaacson despite being a youngster isn't good enough

For sure Cully wouldn’t work with SC a third time.
I wonder if Jimmy Dean would fancy it next season. Job on to keep Scunny up. SC is a big Jimmy Fan.
How about Gashy ?
Then there is the fans Fav and local boy Setch. Could he turn it down.?
At least Setch is a Lynn boi with a genuine love of the club and the town.
No thanks, 10 steps back.

B&G, in SC’s Proggie notes he was saying he needs everyone to bring a person to make it sustainable. So that says to me he needs 1400 average. The Club has lost £70k from central funding. Admission has come down in price but everything else has gone up.
Maybe if TW keeps the wins coming and we get on an FA Cup run that could help balance the books. 770 was disappointing for the Club last night.
What can be done, in these tough times to attract more people through the gate ?
I'm not disputing the fact it's costing money to run the club but every time I hear about the programme notes its to do with money, SC having to struggle and put more money into operating costs. It just gets a bit tiresome.

It's a very low level of football, not even worth discussing.
