General Discussion / Re: Walsall at home
« on: November 09, 2021, 04:58:36 AM »
Yeah yet again someone at the club not being able to take constructive criticism. I know in my job if I was in charge of doing something & it didn't quite work out I'd come under fire from a lot of people but would accept it as I had ultimately failed at what I'd set out to achieve & be the bigger man & hold my hands up. It was never said (I don't think) that the job must be difficult or questioned anyone's work ethic, however after 9 home games the problem still exists & nothing seems to have changed & from a customer point of view it's a very big worry with such a potential large away following on Saturday expected, that the sane problem might occur again & will subsequently put people off attending. Maybe if the club had said they are looking at ways to put this right it would put people's minds at ease but again we get nothing and we don't see any changes week after week that is why it's being challenged.

There's 22 clubs in this league who must have the same problem I'd be looking at what others do for ideas on how to rectify what could be a very serious problem one day if this weekends events weren't bad enough.

But then we only pay the biggest ticket prices in the league i guess with that though we're not allowed to voice any concerns we have again we're just being keyboard warriors  :coffee:
I was sure this was a "fans discussion forum"  :dontknow:

Just hope to God someone at the club is taking all this on board & working on this before there's more flashbacks this weekend, get a huge fence up that can't be climbed over or something, why is it so hard to sort really!?  :dontknow:

What was the attendance today ?

Maybe they haven't decided yet.   :dontknow:

Remember as it's FA Cup, Walsall get half the gate receipts

After any fines that come in due to the crowd trouble probably just about break even then!

No match sponsor this close to the game!? Wow what a joke.
Then again who needs to make money through sponsors when you can just rinse the supporters instead... :banghead;

Maybe one day he will finally realise that running a "business" you need to find other ways of generating income & not being over reliant on the fans, who you are alienating by pricing them out of going.
Those travelling to away games have a look around these full time teams and the amount of advertising you see around the place & in their programmes, because these are established clubs with a commercial side to compliment the gate the receipts. And to the people that are going to argue there's not enough businesses in lynn there clearly is & there's no doubt smaller towns in this league that still manage to do it with probably less available.
£23 to sit in the stand, madness....

Gash was immense,  marriot misses a 1 on 1 shame he couldn't have put that away just to boost his confidence.
Awesome result on to dag & red Saturday who have only scored 2 at home all season let's hope we can nick another 3 points there.
Well done boys

Agree with clunan he's Def been a big miss this season when he got injured.

Otherwise out of this squad got to mention the Gash man still think he's a beast some of his touches/skill are class for a player who's there to lump the ball up to usually & doesn't stop running back all game.

General Discussion / Kettering away
« on: March 11, 2020, 12:36:35 AM »
Being fairly local game I expect there will be a large following from lynn here as like others it'll be a vital game. My question is; They're ground is pretty rubbish  :laughcry: aren't teams supposed to segregate in this league for big games, would this even be possible at Kettering?
 :bus:
Ps just trying to distract thoughts after tonight's disappointing game!  :scarf:

Forget the result.  The biggest worry was the performance.  Canít believe what Iíve just watched.
IC has always said this squad finds ways of winning.   Tonight they could find a way to create a single chance

I really canít remember the last time I saw a performance like that from a Kings Lynn team at the Walks.

Players should be ashamed to pick up their wages for that tonight. Stephen Cleeve mentions the cash flow situation at the Club.  The guy puts in so much and the players should offer to forego any payment for that tonight

They played exactly the same at Leamington we could not believe when IC said after that game that we "bossed it" we never had a shot all game there either, don't know what it is other than midweek curse!? Are these other teams all full timers whereas lynn payers play after bwing at work? Am trying hard to find an excuse.
We really shouldn't moan though this season has been a dream, it's just disappointing when we know how they can play.

Let's hope this high winds does one for tonight's game, was just in town and got blown down the street.
Wouldn't mind them starting with Southwell tonight again and resting the Gash man however when they did this at leamington he played deeper than a regular striker and the defence still kept pumping the ball up in the air to marriot who of course isn't the tallest, think especially with this wind they need to keep the ball on the ground tonight.

Think we have to be cautious going to Hereford they've signed this john-Lewis lad from league 1 who's obviously too good for this league destroyed York last night by all accounts.
Lots of twists & turns yet to come  on this league yet still confident the boys can get us over the line  :cup2:
