There's still people thatll turn up at 2.45 then moan because they missed the first 10 mins. Doesnt matter how many warnings you give to get there early  :banghead;

Hope the traffic around lynn isn't as bad as yesterday with people going to the coast or them 3 slough buses are going to do well to get here on time.

Come on the boys lets do this!  :cup2:

also I was told there was nine football scouts present at the game who where they looking at one guess would Cameron Norman it would be
To sad lose his talent and maybe a few others

Edp today says they were mainly looking at Weymouths Goodship, considering he's bagged 40+ goals this season wouldn't be suprising. Although does wonder if they were impressed with any of the lynn players considering they all played out of their skins!

Bet cleeve was rubbing his hands until he realised he had to give half the gate to weymouth !  :dontknow:

Does that attendance include kids that are free or would it be just for paying customers?

General Discussion / Big Crowd Monday?
« on: May 03, 2018, 12:38:43 PM »
According to slough website they've got over 100 confirmed on coaches & an awful lot on their twitter saying they're driving down etc. Will the club consider segregation? The banter with the weymouth fans last night was fun, but when that started to boil over & the police had to be called it begs you to question why more police or segregation wasn't thought of in the first place? Bank holiday monday will surely be a massive crowd & you'd think the usual 10 stewards lol or whatever they have in the ground would not be able to cope again, or I might be wrong. Know that years ago the police have advised on segregating on big games would be suprised if they hadn't again after last night?
Just being cautious & it would be a shame if things off the pitch got in the way of lynn getting promoted on the pitch!  :cup2: :cup2:

General Discussion / Re: King's Lynn vs Weymouth in Play Off's

There wasn't half that many at the Hereford game numbers definately wrong, unless they don't count the kids who get in free....and there was a lot of them there tonight!

Amazing game, team bossed them in every department. The players looked more hungry than weymouth did. Even when being 3-0 up they were still chasing every 2nd ball, the team work was out of this world & those goals were all top-drawer.

Couple of questions without wanting to be negative...Why would they have police at the game for the hereford game yet for an equally big game tonight was there none in the ground until they were called due to odd disturbances at half time?
Also in light of the fact that police have had to get involved at said two previous big games, would the Police not advise the club about possible segregation for the final monday like they have done years ago?

Anyway, Bring on Slough what a bank holiday monday it's going to be! :cup2:

With Hereford quoting it's close to a sell-out & obviously a fair few from kettering going too it'll be a big crowd for their final home game of the season, I can't see that they'd want to lose paticularly on a day where they're celebrating promotion in front of their home fans.

I thought they were really good quality highlights for this level of football.

Gash's miss though :(

Their second goal was well worked I thought.

With regards to play offs, if we finish 2nd we get home advantage right?
Where's the final played at?

Don't forget we do have a game stratford who again could be a potential banana skin, theyve drawn twice with weymouth this season & against slough & hereford just won 2-1 there & as we saw against basingstoke teams with apparently nothing to play for are seemingly raising their games against us.

Least one of the games

Well weymouth play slough don't they so guess someone will be losing points! Ha ha.
But yeah exciting end to the season, hopefully it starts to attract the attention of the stay-away fans.

Just a shame they've pulled away a little bit too much as if it was closer it couldve tempted a few more to make the long trek
