Spiv, many thanks for you efforts in providing useful information for fans supporting the linnets on their travels. I'm sure it is much appreciated by many. Great work.

General Discussion / Lynn v Sports
December 27, 2025, 11:17:26 AM
Yesterday was a classic example of a game of 2 halves. First 10 minutes Lynn played slick attacking football and deservedly took the lead. At that time I thought that we were going to turn them over big style. Unfortunately then too many Linnets seemed to fall asleep and Sports sliced through our midfield and defence and got themselves in front.  Cully did say in his post-match interview that a few players were suffering from flu symptoms. So it was obviously the half time hair drier treatment or a halftime drink of gin and lemsip, but what a turn round in performance second half. With a few players to come back after injury, Lynn will be ok. As said by Veratis, first target is to get to 40 points and secure our place in this league and then build on that. Well done to Cully and Basa for turning things around at half time.  Looking forward to the rest of the season. COYL.

General Discussion / Re: Season Tickets

What a revelation with this extremely generous price structure, especially after years of being well over priced and the continual begging bowl. Got my season ticket as soon as I read this post. If this is a sign of the times, good luck to the new administration team.

General Discussion / Re: Tonight’s meeting

Not posted on here for years, but here we go.  Oh dear Mr Cleeve. Having read his recent rants on X, they are so similar to many of his rants in programme notes, EDP column etc. Distraction tactics.  Find a reason to criticise and blame others and avoid the most important issue. One important topic missing from his most recent rants, the current financial situation at the club. Who is to blame for this? After all, he alone has been overseeing the financial and operational " management" at the football club. He has announced publicly that he can no longer fund the club. He has had £450,000 DCMS loan, £50,000 Government bounce back loan, all of the monies from sponsorship and hospitality etc and of course takings at the turnstiles and season ticket sales. On top of this, the TSI statement alludes to over £700,000 injected by Joe Phua.  Where has it all gone. Have to ask why after all of this, the club has been losing £300,00 season on season.  TSI have made it clear that they would wish to take over at the helm and work with not just The Trust, but with the fan base and local community. Mr Cleeve, if you have any respect for the club and fans, and if you have an ounce of self respect, it's time to hand over the reins. As the old saying goes, gather up the sheep and get the flock out of here.
