Cannot really recall him.......How long ago was he with us?

He seems to have followed Evans around as his assistant ever since their days at Boston.........For me he is far and away the best mid field organiser / enforcer we have had in recent memory, even thiough when he came to us he was way past his best.

Scored the winner yesterday and was MOM in a 1-0 away win. All hypothetical I know but I just wonder if we had managed to keep George whether he and his goals would have lifted us into that hoped for play off position?
