In my experience the most successful teams are usually the hardest working.

You need to match 'inferior opposition' for effort, then your superior skill will.likely bring with it the desired result.

Two of many from the great Brian Clough......

"Peter Shilton was absolutely brilliant that season. He won us the title, but I didn’t dare tell him. One big head at our club was quite enough."

"If God had wanted us to play football in the clouds he’d have put grass up there.’ – on the importance of passing to feet. "

Not a particularly high priority but wasn't the PA system upgraded fairly recently? Although my eyesight is not great my hearing is fine - yet when sitting in the stand on Saturday.i thought the sound quality (rather than the volume) was at times indecipherable.

A sad but predictable reflection of society. Some will always chance their arm when they know that at worst, they will get a slap on the wrist. Effective deterrents?

Wouldnt this have been an opportunity to encourage some to attend the match and then watch the game at the ground, with perhaps 'a happy hour' following the game and a meal deal....All well advertised of course?

Classic banana skin?

With Theo Widdrington, Ben Stephens and Jordan Ponticelli all out, probably more likely a lack of options for Tommy to work with.

Tommy knows what he wants and needs. Seems he’s not being given the chance to get it sorted which he must feel very disappointed with considering the amount of money he’s recently brought to the Club with his Cup run.

It had a similar 'feel'  to Kettering away earlier in the season.

I am really surprised that Charles didn't start. On Saturday he showed pace and closing down. Something that was sadly lacking beforehand.

I think in the first half we were still suffering, perhaps understandably, from a post Stevenage hangover and that was more to do with our performance than the starting eleven. We seemed to be lacking in energy with Hereford much mote dynamic, but whether a coincidence or not, i thought that Charles made one hell of a difference - he energised us - and in my opinion, definitely deserves a start if not tomorrow then Saturday.

It is great that we all.have opinions but i have faith in Tommy getting it right more often than not.

If only we had his.level of professionalism and clarity of thought, off the pitch, as well as on!!

It really was a game of two halves. Maybe we had a bit of a hangover from last week as we seemed off the pace up to half time. I thought that Ken Charles made a big difference. Surely he should be starting???

Inexcusable but the level of fine does seem disproportionate.

i have so many fond memories of Mick. Also a well done to David - another Linnet Legend - but off rather than on the pitch!!

I think they may come to regret that decision.

More competitive?

When compared with many other clubs at our level? I only raised it as a point of reasonable debate?!

I believe that there are more than a few, post Covid, who have lost the habit of regular attendance but maybe can still be attracted back?

I understand that 'the lights have to be kept on' but there is also a much bigger issue here. Why do not many more local businesses engage with the club, financially? Increased levels of sponsorship income would reduce the obvious need for supporters to disproportionately make up the shortfall?

One idea for next season - make the concession ticket price more 'competitive'.
