Surely this cannot continue for much longer? If the chairman wants us to play a more pragmatic style of football....get Setch back!

Maybe the catalyst to spark a revival. I just hope he can handle the weight of expectation and anticipation..

I just wanted to separately acknowledge the few, that health and weather permitting, never miss an away match.....

Stoic is an understatement. It must be quite hard to take at present yet they keep coming back for more.

Supporters par excellence!!!

If we managed to come away with a point that would surely be the result of the season?

Miracles have been known to happen?!

In other words we have been stiched up.
Can't see how it was a stitch up more like a cock up because of i believe the 4 days left on his contract. So not only were we not playing him but looks like not talking about a new contract. Looks like the cock up is all blue and yellow.

Well....there's a surprise!

If this hadn't happened for Joe and Lynn now had the chance of an unknown U23 striker on Peterborough's books, who had scored a hatful of goals in lower leagues, prior to joining them, would we now be considering a loan deal to bolster our forward line I wonder ?

Just the sort of loan signing that might make sense?!

Unless they have a hugely talented squad and / or unlimited funds the best coaches are flexible, in that they tailor the system to best suit the players at their disposal?

With the Chairman liking to get involved in all aspects of the Club l wouldn’t be surprised to see him take that role on as well.

Just back in the summer he handed picked a good few players ( was it 10?) to come on trial and for IC to run his eye over.  None of the players were taken on.  Now we hear SC was behind the signing of the new lad from Bury for £5k.  That player was sat on the bench ( only 4 subs) but never got on despite 2 defenders being injured and him being the only defender on the bench.

Maybe he could put to good use his Chelsea contacts?!

Recruitment of a proven goalscorer at this level, mid season, is surely going to be a very expensive exercise in terms of transfer fees and wages. Only the chairman knows if this is affordable?

If it is, then good contacts are invaluable either via the manager or DOF. If not, having a short term replacement for Backie is not really that important or relevant?

:farmer: :oldman" We can quote this system or that system, but ultimately if you don’t concede you don’t lose, and if you score more than the opposing team and you win. EASY  :oldman" :farmer:

i recall that was very much Brian Clough's philosophy, which served him quite well.
