Some excellent non league performances: not least Tamworth and Kettering. i thought it somewhat ironic though that the standout player for Kettering, who scored the equaliser and assisted the winning goal, was a 19 year old locally born academy graduate.

Great win at Spennymoor.  I hope and think there is room for optimism at last!  Three things enthusing the Dillyputer - Six games without defeat, up to 2nd in the league, and most encouraging of all, I’ve spotted that there has been mention of the team having plenty of speed in it, (imho, for the first time for ages).  With the arrival of speed, we will pin opponents back more often than we have for some time.  On personnel matters, is Hamami injured?… and Boston won’t have a problem getting a new manager, because they all speak the same cliches, and availability of money is the only tactic that counts… COYL….

Boston have on field problems but off the pitch, organisationally, they are literally in a different league when compared to us.

With only 2 points separating the top 5 Clubs ( including KL) would now be a good time to get a goalscorer in ?

Have we any idea when Margetts is back ? The loaner Williams struggling to get a game, so maybe not what AL thought he was getting.  Gold ?  Who knows what you will get from him.

Looks like Fletcher Toll isn’t struggling for goals at Corby.  He must be well on his way to 20 for the season and it's  not even November.

Averaging one goal every league game. 15 so far.

Very pleased to have received an email this evening inviting me back to The Walks tomorrow.

This is good interaction with fans. Pyramid type marketing theory is important for the likes of Lynn. ....ie although it's important to also look for completely new contacts, pre existing contacts are often the best source of new business.

That and Hot Dogs!

We're being spoilt now!

 :scarf:

I also received an emailed invitation but it didn't include a compelling reason to do so.

When i first read the title of this thread i momentarily wondered whether the new commercial guru was planning to open a chain of (virtual) hairdressers.

What next? A fantasy season ticket?

Or virtual Beer?

Virtual beer not to be virtually consumed whilst watching FA Cup matches of course

Virtual football would dramatically reduce overheads?

A hat trick today in a 7-0 win. Fletcher has 13 league goals, five ahead of the league's second highest scorer.

Mr Cleeve owns a football club in England not Germany.....

I agree with  Hoeness ...it is different in Germany and it's not England

If the FA took the same stance as Hoeness then we might see a different price structure throughout the English game.

With the appointment of Thomas Tuchel perhaps the FA are sympathetic to and will try to further the cause of the 'German model'?!

Former Bayern President Uli Hoeneß:

"We could charge more than €120 per season ticket. If we charge €350 per season ticket we would get €2m extra, but what does that mean for us?

The difference for a fan between €120 and €350 is enormous and we do not believe that fans are like cows, which are milked.

Football has to be for everyone. That is the biggest difference between us and England."

Spot on!

How refreshing but i doubt Mr Cleeve would agree?

Take out the away fans and it’s a home gate of circa 700 Pink.  I thought those days were behind us with crowds to date averaging 4 figures.  That’s a huge drop. Hence why I used the word ‘surprise, cos you know what ?  It did surprise me 😂

It is a huge drop Mall, but nothing is really  being done to up the core support in terms of fans feeling really connected.....and I believe the core support that would go on a cold wet day if Lynn were mid table and out of the Cups is....and has been for a good few years around 700......... probably actually 699 now that Rod has given up his hobby due to the pricing

I've been there in the past on many a cold and wet Saturday and Tuesday winter nights when gates were sometimes between 400 and 600.
