I thought the players on furlough could be taken off and placed back in the squad if necessary....🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
As i understand furlough and part time furlough it sounds like if you furloughed you cannot play for your club but you can sign for another while still drawing your furlough from the first job.
But then there is part time furlough which as i understand it you can be furloughed at 80% of your pay but if you work some and part time furlough some then that is feasable.
So why cannot players be paid for matchdays and furloughed for the rest of the week?
Please someone correct me if i am wrong.

You're right. Can even submit an hourly claim.  Just inform them of the hours worked and its adjusted accordingly.

General Discussion / Re: Trust

It is admirable that these fine souls keep to the constitution and principles of the original organisation and how they have maintained that in such a disciplined manner. However it is, on the other side, a very poor show for  a constitution drawn on normal times to not re-write the constitution in times such as a pandemic. To this end the Government has had to do this in ensuring the country was provided the furlough system and other changes to ensure that people in this country were not found dead lying in the streets in which we live. So the trust must consider constitutional amendment. To this point it is understandable that they may find it to much of a risk to part with even some of their "foodbank" to this particular cause, but we must see some "noise" from this group before kick off on Saturday. One way or the other, yay or nay, with reasoning is required. Without this any respect the trust has within the terrace will be lost and the trust will in turn lose all credibility, and I suspect some membership. Here will be opposition to any future ambition the trust has for the continuation of football in Lynn and opposition to their future involvement.

The furlough scheme has been used before, it's not new or an unknown, it's part of an armoury used to prop up business. rarely used, but more democracies with large economies have them.  Ours was tinkered with and re-introduced after the Swedes, Portuguese, Fins, Italians and Norwegians changed there's to almost 100% of pay in some cases.

Trust constitutions are written in law i think, not down to the individual Trust per se,  I stand to be corrected....

That's a yes.  Football should be closed down and compensated as businesses.   The constant in and out of lockdown, hearing stories of whole teams going down with covid has to STOP and has to stop now.

We'll be at 100,000 deaths with weeks ffs!

GrahamB I think that's one of the best posts I have seen about the virus to many
people think is a joke, and the Police should have been told to be much more
active. After 10 months the supermarkets are now going to more strict why has it taken this long.

Why?

Because the country voted for a failed journalist to be our prime minister.

Never ran a department, never led a campaign or championed a cause other than for his own position.

Zero leadership, zero character of any worth, zero respect from anyone other than those who voted for him and still live in ignorant hope that's he'll pull through good.

But hey, 80,000 dead and rising.

If America had the same death rate as us in the last week, they would need to have 5200 deaths a day.

It's shameful,  buy hey, imagine the chaos under Labour eh?

World beating, my arse.
