Hi
Every Saturday from around 11am through till around 4.45pm and again on Sunday Mornings, hundreds, if not thousands of local people are in parks, fields and stadia watching or playing football and other high impact sports. Every weekend, without fail, the A & E department will see quite an influx of visitors with sprains, breaks and fractures and head injuries sustained by people playing the beautiful game. Our hospital however, regardless of how brilliant the staff and service provision given, is crumbling and is now very dangerous with over 200 props holding up the roofs in public access areas. Wards have had to close to be made safe and it's getting worse. There is a petition that requires 10,000 signatures to get a response from the Government. This petition needs just 380 more signatures to get that response. Can i ask, that as a club, we help push this over the line today. If you haven't signed, please do so. Then share the petition link via email, WhatsApp, Fb, Linkedin etc and get this done today. If you administer an email group, or FB group, share this YET AGAIN with a personal plea if that's what it takes. Thanks in advance Let's just get this done. https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/590390 64

Isn't that where the best business gets done Tony? Informally, over a few beers, where everyone gets a fair say rather than a formatted meeting controlled by someone who loves the sound of their own voice? If you have 30 people in a bar, who all share a common goal, add a few smiles and a little alcohol and watch what happens. And remember, it's what happens between meetings that's important. Meetings about meetings get sod all done other than ticking boxes and wasting everyone's time. 65

General Discussion / Re: Cup Final« on: July 09, 2021, 09:38:16 PM »Just wondering if there is enough time for the club to ready and open the bar for the final? I saw something on twitter about one table up for grabs, so looks like something is on for Sunday |
