Seems such a shame that with the huge buzz about the team right now and it’s quality and successful football, that simple off pitch things like this can’t be resolved. Would improve the relationship between the loyal hardcore fans like Milly and the owner if a sign of recognition from the club for what he and the other remarkably dedicated fans do to support the team, could be made. Like Mallard says, surely a free entry for Milly to home and away matches is not too much to ask?

Whilst 770 isn’t a big crowd it isn’t too bad for a “wet” Tuesday evening and with Norwich at home too. Remember last season we were a league higher and apart from the “big club matches” the home support was around this figure for a lot of the time anyway. May well not be anywhere near enough but think it’s a good base to start with and if the club continues with good results then it will be going up a hundred or two within a few weeks but never going to get to around 1400 I’m afraid.

7th position is a play off place
Oh I didnt realise that!!....Well, I think there's a decent chance of sneaking a play off place then!!

I expect a finish of around 7th or 8th this season, with a small outside chance of sneaking into the play offs. This is still a VERY tough league and maybe some people are underestimating the quality of a lot of the sides in it.

Less overnights stops = more budget available for such things as a 2nd keeper.
As much as a good 2nd choice keeper is desirable, any “saved funds” from less hotel stays should be prioritised for a striker who at least has a clue where the goal is!!

A real Lynn legend, one from my very early days of watching Lynn. R.I.P. condolences to all his family and friends.

Ok it’s all over now for the Club ( in truth has been for weeks). So despite going back down to step 2, let’s hope Tommy can get some pride back into the team and we at least put up a fight on Tuesday night.
Will he throw some of those who have not been in the squad back in or go with the same players who didn’t perform on Saturday? Be interesting to see if his Boy starts.
I don’t think “interesting” is the word I would use if he plays that Southern League standard son of his AGAIN!!….I could think of one or two more appropriate ones!

Would think TW will pick a more attacking line up to go for the much needed 3 points. "CAN SEE BARRETT RETURNING"
I guess with the latest loaners in until the end of month results will determine whether those deals are extended or players sent back.
Seeing as he's our top scorer, has only played a few games and ran the match v Weymouth then I think that's about the most obvious statement I've ever seen in here!! LOL If he didn't then it would be utterly bonkers!

Well done another injury prone player and yet again not a striker is Lynn becoming a rehabilitation clinic
I'm guessing taking on all these "injury prone" players is cheaper than loaning fully fit ones!!PLUS the parent clubs are happier to off rid players who dont or wont feature much 'cos they're never fit! Sadly, it wont do Lynn any good as even if we do bring in a fit player for once, we still aren't going to be scoring with the "joke" strikers we have and whom seem immune to ever being replaced!!

"...........it just totally begs the question where the hell do we go as a club from here ?"
Sadly, to where I've said all season it will....a BIG BANG!! :( :( :(

That last line worries me.
I genuinely hope I'm proved wrong, but having the intention of playing league football is not the way to run a non league football club.
Having the intention of building a club that attracts enough fans to support a team capable of competing at the highest level that club can reasonably afford, would be a more achievable long term goal.
Sounds like promotion at any cost.
Where does that leave us when it all goes belly up, again?
I wouldn’t lose too much sleep over the thought of league football!!!!!!!!!!!…..it’s about as likely to EVER happen as the WHO announcing that the Covid pandemic is over, tomorrow! This season has proven that the club could never sustain such status, as the fans clearly won’t come unless the side are winning….and at this level, that needs 10 times more money than what the current owner can provide (rightly or wrongly) and I can’t see anyone ever being prepared to take that sort of financial risk.

Sell? Some of the players we will never give away.
I know!!…..hence why I can only envisage a “Big Bang” before long :(

A lot of players in this seasons squad will be in contract through the summer and into next season. That has to be the starting point for next season. If a new Manager comes in Will he have a free reign to put his squad together or will SC be ‘helping’ in that area ?
And what’s more “a lot of players in this season squad” will also still be on FULL TIME wages next season at level two and if that’s not sustainable at the moment in the NL then what chance do Lynn have of surviving as a full time club at a lower level? Go back to “part time” people will say, but forgetting those players will still be under full time contracts so unless they can be sold, then there’s a big problem. It’s all going to go “bang” in a big way, I fear 😧

Another week goes by without any sign of a forward, so alas another null points on the cards for Saturday and then gap to safety will widen still further...... don't think I can bear to see it all unfold yet again......so will ignore the game and just confirm the outcome on Sunday...as you say Dilly, pretty difficult to take....this slow painful demise of our club.
Depressing. There is no such thing as a “Holding” midfielder, and even some pundits are beginning to catch up with that. We still have no creative midfielders, nor goal scoring forwards. We’ll soon have the most number of iun-creative midfielders in pro-football, and they’ll all be looking to “work hard, and break things up” ! Sorry - not being controversial, just putting forward an opinion…..
Both sad but true posts!......the gap is going to be too big by Xmas for any "strikers" that MAY then come in. We can keep finding "injury ridden" midfielders so it seems, but to get strikers is a lot harder and costs decent MONEY...and I'm not sure that that idea is one some people at the club are too happy about!
