Well I went and we actually won and scored 2 great goals. Are Sam G and Stevo really fit enough as they both seemed a good yard 'off the pace' to me ? Anyone know the extent of Ryan's injury as he came off the pitch very quickly ?
If Ryan is OK then he has to be pushing SG for a place and the captaincy?

Time stood still while Hurst set himself up for the first goal and he could not have hit that any better...but then it all went a bit Chuckle Brothers. Credit due that the lads got hold of the game later on and particular mention for Sam M. who was getting battered with no protection from the ref, and the noise coming from the Lynn fans "we're gonna win the league, we're gonna win the league".

I have a conundrum ! Each time I miss a game at the Walks the Linnets play well and win. I'm hoping to be there this Saturday and just hoping that I'm not a 'Jonah' and that we get the 3 points and score a few goals ............
Don't worry Doug, I will be wearing my lucky pants.

The EDP report came up with the stat that we fielded eight players under 22 last night. If they keep performing like that they deserve a name like the 'Busby babes', how about 'Setchs saplings'.

Enjoyable game and good result. I thought pre-match that Biggleswade might have edged it because of our injuries but the lads showed that football is a squad game and I think Ryan could easily have edged MOM, a good captains perfoance.

I have just got in from work and seen that Lynn went down. The league table will be interesting as the two teams below managed away wins against the two teams above. Watch this space......
