I started this post 2 months ago, now well over 220 reply posts, are we any the wiser. We have let good players go, we have signed players, and not for the first time the begging bowl is out again, the pitch has been dug up, at great cost, but what league are we in? Please sort this week, the pain is unbearable!
Wonder if Darlington fans called it the begging bowl or was everyone pulling in same direction up there ???

I suspect that there will be a number of options available should Marriott not sign. This squad has been creating a hatful of chances over the past 2 seasons and a good forward playing alongside Gash should find the net regularly enough. Marriott has performed really well, but plenty of chances that fell to him, also went begging....if he doesn't sign I would be confident of Lynn finding a good replacement.
Agree love to see maz stay but we just can’t rely on him if we go up , Southwell may take on the challenge

So an uncompleted League can allow Clubs to finish in a place to qualify for play offs, but an incomplete League can not give a final finishing place ?
Go figure
So do that mean then ppg to get final placing for playoffs ? Personally perhaps this is the time that they add another rule to the book on let’s says80% games played league decided on ppg , at Least it’ll stop all this voting /delays to decide.

I also think this stuff about the players not offering to cut their wages is a deliberate attempt to deter fans from making donations because if fans don't think the players are doing their bit then they are less likely to make donations themselves.
Why would anyone would deter the hand that feeds you ...no club no play no pay

25k Grant ( not loan) makes a decent dent that Stephen Cleeve needs to get him to the end of the summer. Hopefully the players and other staff will help Stephen make a further dent in that 100k figure. Supporters can play their part.
Any ideas on how the Club could raise further funds online and also connect and interact with the fans?
Online Quiz ? Online fans forum ? Both allowing the fans to pay/donate.Maybe Mark can organise it I’m sure he can’t have a lot on his plate at the mo.
I still think fans could buy tickets for the remaining games, although I realise that some will have financial problems if their own.
Curious that no one's commented on this suggestion. It could make all the difference. Including money from season ticket holders assume attendances of 1,000 X 4 home games games = 4000 X £15 = £60,000. Am I missing something here? This plan seems simple, obvious and effective!
But don’t forget concessions and children /students won’t be paying £15 on a match day Just ask 1000 people for £15 donations

Give him a lifetime ban .... this is a great club but for reasons we always have our reputation tarnished one way or another either trouble at home or away then as much as I love our Steve even his words of wisdoms turns people against us and makes us hated .... so time to rake a stance against racism and give the punishment he deserves , also think it’s time to cover the players tunnel as I see in time incidents are going to happen which will involve players or officials

This is a tough one and to be honest ( all of us ) if we was in say Farsley position we won’t give to hoots what happened next , current form clubs below us may say they could catch us and looking at top ten playoffs could be anyone’s , also I know there’s 2/3 players holding off signing contracts as to see what league we’ll be in ... them players may well leave if season null void , , me personally option 3 gutting as it is , as next season may see us not hit this seasons form ... all I know is I wouldn’t want to be the one who makes the decision... this could roll n roll with legal matters etc

This is a tough one to call , me personally will attend from where I live I can get in to the ground without contacting anyone/thing ... drive... walk .... enter( online ) then stand away from anyone ... my other side says at this moment there’s people shopping ( handling your food , trolley, doors ) in pubs ( again confined, handling glasses where you then put your mouth ) restaurants , all to me stand just as much chance to catch something if not more than footy .... me personally which I know could harm the takings is not to open the bar that way no contained places . Yes I could get coughed on but that could happen anywhere... like the dirty b****d did in Sainsbury’s this morning who thought it was ok not to cover his mouth .... just glad I wasn’t near him Also personally think this could be the last footy fix of the season what a shame to end it this way

Boston’s home game with Farsley been called along with 4 other games in our League. Not looking good.
You should see Boston’s pitch .... I thought Gloucester’s was bad

Starting to think the omens are against us. Another long midweek haul to come, added to what is becoming an overcrowded fixture list. Was it IC or SC who ran over that black cat ?
Have a funny feeling this time next week York will be two points ahead of us with Boston just a single point behind.
Have you thought of becoming a motivational speaker, Mallard?
Think mallards the type of bloke to wait until happy hours over before entering the pub C’mon mallard none of this doom n gloom we’re in a great position and IC will know how to motivate the lads ( if needed) for the up coming games , I’m sure come next Saturday we’ll all be singing from the same page

Personally I just think we’ve been treated to a season above and beyond all expectations so 2 defeats do come as a shock , kiddie was the shock result and let’s all be honest tues result could off happened even had we beat kiddie , we just need to regroup as a team and fans and get behind them for the remaining games.. 2 defeats don’t make us a bad side overnight,we knew it’s to be a tough run in so let’s all get on board and get behind the lads
