General Discussion / Re: King's Lynn v York City - Sat 18 Jan 2020
« on: January 12, 2020, 04:03:38 PM »
Harry Limb I think notched a few on loan at Boston Town ( step 5).  Is he good enough to score goals at step 2?   Think in fairness we have to say the jury is out.  The one thing about the lad though is he is ours, so when he plays  he needs 100% backing.

As for pretty young girls Griss, really ? In this day and age.  Why not pretty young boys if we are going down that route. Or why not someone whose gender matters not but has the personality and sales ability to help Mark ( the 50/50 seller) out.
Think griss was just having a laugh ( but it worked to be fair as you knew where to look ) how about some Thai lady boys for ya then we’re both happy ..  tbh yeh perhaps they could be sold with programmes or made more visible but I’ve never had a problem buying them

Personally I think i need to give Harry few more games before i judge , he’s had two sub appearances for us , and coming into a front line of gashy /maz  so it’s hard for him as we compare him to them ,  there’s no doubting his ability  and so do IC , last season he done ok , just need to get up to speed with rest off the team .   :scarf:

Harry Limb has been out for ages with a virus and just working his way back up to speed.......will be an important option in the squad for the rest of the season.
Young players like him in the squad  who have had a bit of a tough time could do with a bit of support and encouragement from the fan base.........that is if we are all pulling the same way and are in it together
well said

Sad to think this has been going on , even worse if they’re proper fans and not fans jumping on the bandwagon this season, fair play to his attitude towards offenders , not knocking it but hopefully he’ll personally email them to pay before naming them .

No one would deny Adam the chance of going to a league club what a player , I try to switch off from all these rumours , we had it earlier in the season when seen to be at Rotherham ( but was watching lynn play at the same time )   Who says these scouts are there just for him , Stevenage would be good option for him but would they take a chance on him to keep them in league football and would he start every game ??  Fingers crossed it’s all a load of tosh and he carry on banging them in for lynn’s promotion challenge  :worship:

General Discussion / Re: HAPPY NEW YEAR
« on: December 31, 2019, 08:46:57 PM »
Happy New Year to all those interested in KLTFC, including those still only thinking about coming to see this excellent team in action....  Special thanks to Steven Cleeve, IC and Mr Bastock, (it hasn’t gone un-noticed how you “ping” a new ball into play when one is heading down Tennyson Avenue after a Hawk-launch !  Hard and low please Hawk, in 2020 !  Not forgetting our fine team , and particularly it’s terrific on the floor pass and move football !  As well as NY greetings, a special thank you to Mr Chairman for his superb sponsorship of our club, ambition for its progress, and....  his humorous programme notes.  Steven - Don’t let the buggers get you down.....  Off now for a third Crafty Hen - the last one before the toast !!!
I’ll second that dilly , been an amazing year and fingers crossed it carries on in 2020 , I’ll be raising a glass to you all associated with kltfc and see you all tomorrow  :scarf: :bus:

General Discussion / Re: Boxing day v Boston.

From Boston Forum;

“Agree, absolute tin pottery of the highest order, as for game, sending off changed it, 11 v 11 and we would have run out comfortable winners, must admit for a team top of table they were pretty poor, will wager a bet come end of season we will be above them in the league, long way to go yet“

Idiots. Granted we weren’t at our best, but still controlled the game, just final pass let us down today, and reasonably slow build up play. But fed up of the oldies that always stand near me, they’re so negative it’s unreal. Literally before the goal, bloke behind goes “don’t give it too sonny, he f**k it up” when Sonny got the ball, “here we go again”. Let’s encourage these great bunch of lads!

Some people haven’t a clue about the The quality of the side we have , personally I a fan of sonny and puts his shift in when brought on ... perhaps they see something IC didn’t  :dontknow:
Think today’s conditions spoilt the occasion but as usual the lads do us proud again  :scarf:
