I take it that Timsons are definately ok to stay open.... :laughcry:
They might as well continue to rob you during a pandemic as they do normally.

Just heard from a very reliable source that there are 200 U16 tickets that are being made available for the Notts County game at a VERY reduced price.
Looks like common sense at last.

1400 ?   I donít think that was the figure for the test game.  I seem to recall that had a ceiling of 800.  If they canít sell 800 at the top dollar being asked then Messrs Hearle and Cleeve have got it wrong.

It seems the prices have caused a certain amount of bad feeling from some supporters, but the club needs to survive and the clubs customers need to play their part.
Mallard are you a comedian in your spare time. THE CLUBS CUSTOMERS NEED TO PLAY THEIR PART.
So might you suggest that Marks and Spencers put up their prices for a £5 childs t-shirt to £20 and the customers will flock to support it.
Absolute BULL!
The club needs to be doing their part NOT alienating their loyal fans who turn out year in and year out ! Expecting a family of 4 to pay
£100 to sit and watch the game is going to do far more harm than good. Even at that you were not guaranteed a ticket, but shelling out another £140 for membership would.
One of my very first words to SC on the way to visit the Joma tradeshow at Harlow at the start of his reign was that " You think you have bought Chelsea but we are not even the non league version of Chelsea".
At this rate it will be cheaper to go to Chelsea!

Thatís was my big worry but regards ticket pricing itís fairly obvious the club needs money and this is the way to put some money in the coffers I donít think anyone wants to see the club to go belly up I for one certainly dont
yes  imagine only  having 84k a month to get by on. :countingmoney:
And the rest!

Winners over Ipswich with a blatantly offside winner. Where was VAR when you need it?

Seemingly that is correct Mallard, allowed to play but not train. Another FA cock up.
That didn't stop the likes of Marine though did it.
Well done to all the successful teams, especially those against league opposition and also the likes of Eastleigh and Torquay who gave bigger teams a big scare.

General Discussion / Re: Pitch cover
« on: November 07, 2020, 08:40:29 PM »
I wonder if a viable option to the training venue situation would be to turn the walks pitch into an artificial pitch....like sutton utd....training could then be held at the walks....all of the clubs team could play their home games there...and there would also be the option to hiring it out to the community... :dontknow:
An initial big outlay granted but the long term benefits are there for all to see.... :dontknow:
I dont know how much an artificial pitch would cost but the outlay over recent seasons on the existing pitch seems to be substantial and by looks of it....never ending

Thereís the issue that as the ground is owned by the council, theyíd have to approve it. And with the one at Lynnsport not being utilised anywhere near capacity, they might not want another pitch that can be hired out competing with them.

Plus, if the impossible happened and we get promoted, itíd have to be torn up again.
LL i thought the problem was that LYNNSPORT is well and truly booked out (when the lockdown allows).
Harrogate have just had to dig their artificial pitch up and have been playing their first home games at Doncaster.
Its a pity that the council don't allow an artificial pitch behind the back stand. There always used to be a  pitch on that piece of land.

General Discussion / Re: Street departs
« on: October 30, 2020, 12:19:03 PM »
I don't think for one minute that anyone in the club would have wanted this as it leaves us with no cover if Mair is injured or called up for International Duty.    It is a huge blow but I don't blame Street for wanting regular football and he has decided to leave the club, I would suspect it is his choice alone.  Good luck to him and best wishes for the future.

Badger  :oldman"
NOT anyone in the club wanted this? It was the clubs decision NOT Pedro's. Told that he would not be on the bench for the cancelled FA cup game, also again on tuesday night.
Stayed loyal to King's Lynn to be there record goalkeeper appearances but discarded in the way he was.
And yes it was MY cryptic meesages over the past couple of weeks as i already new.
