Harriers 1-0 up at half-time against Farsley Celtic. Be good if it stays that way.

Good luck to Lynn on Saturday although I think it will be a draw with us winning the replay. One of my colleagues told me the following - "As Bury won't be in the first round the last team drawn out gets a bye into the second round. The club that receives the bye will also be awarded the 36,000 prize money for the first-round winner". Is this correct?

Most recent meeting with Nantwich was back in 2015 in the FA Trophy at their place. We lost 5-1. But we have come a long way since then so we can win this. Just a pity it is another away draw.

3-0 to Lynn. Will Norwich V Man City affect the gate even though it is a 5:30pm kick off? Nevertheless, I'll be surprised if it is not around 1250.

I don't remember him but he did play for both teams - Lynn first then Darlington. Right back.

I know that Tommy Taylor managed both Lynn & Darlington. Not sure about player(s).

If Jones can keep Stephen Thompson quiet then 2-0 to Lynn. I think the club will be extremely disappointed with less than 1000. Let's hope Gloucester can do us a favour :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

Fair point Marcus. I wonder if the Neville brothers will have any regrets if Bury disappear. They are shareholders of Salford City FC yet their father was a director and the main stand at Gigg Lane was named after him.

If both Bury & Bolton disappear will this make new boys Salford the 'biggest' club in the Manchester area (excluding City & Utd of course)?

Not wishing to tempt fate but is the promotion process the same as the league we came from i.e. 1 automatic promotion + play-offs?

1-0 to Lynn. They need to watch Jimmy Spencer - he has league experience and was NPL player of the year last season. :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

Thanks Mallard. Although I had the correct number I thought that Kettering had achieved that fame. I had overlooked Gateshead - it must have been a long time ago that they were there.

Taking a quick look at this league am I right thinking that at least 9 of these sides have seen league football at some stage?

Hope I am not tempting fate but I reckon Lynn will win by 2 or 3 goals. Curzon have scored 9 goals but against some of the weaker teams in the league. This game is the first of 3 home matches out of 4 for Lynn so if our home form remains solid and we achieve a decent points return we shall be very nicely placed after 8 matches. I live in Portugal and was hoping to attend a midweek home match when I am in Lynn in mid September but having reviewed the fixture list it looks like this will not be possible. I'll need to get things sorted so that I am there on Jan 18th when York visit The Walks :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:
