General Discussion / Re: Tonight’s Match
« on: November 14, 2019, 07:53:59 PM »
I lived in King's Lynn from 1967 to 1975 and I have family still living there. In those days I used to attend virtually every home match with my father. When I moved to Yorkshire I attended away matches as often as possible. I now reside in Portugal so attending matches is not viable so I follow the matches via this website. It would be fantastic to see the current momentum maintained. As I cannot get to the matches would it be possible to purchase a season ticket for the remainder of the season and as I can not make use of it could be offered as a prize in a raffle or given to a known needy person. It would count as another person through the gate. I look forward to any responses.

General Discussion / Re: Altrincham at Home

Weather forecast currently looks good for Saturday afternoon, Norwich playing at Brighton and with no home matches for almost 3 weeks these factors might result in a crowd of around 1000. Altrincham have scored only 4 goals in 7 away matches so I would expect Lynn to win this 2-0. :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

Did he play at Lynn at the same time as the ex-Spurs winger Cliff Jones? Also, am I right thinking that one of the Charles brothers played at The Walks for Merthyr(?) in the late 60s/early 70s?

Harriers 1-0 up at half-time against Farsley Celtic. Be good if it stays that way.

Good luck to Lynn on Saturday although I think it will be a draw with us winning the replay. One of my colleagues told me the following - "As Bury won't be in the first round the last team drawn out gets a bye into the second round. The club that receives the bye will also be awarded the £36,000 prize money for the first-round winner". Is this correct?

Most recent meeting with Nantwich was back in 2015 in the FA Trophy at their place. We lost 5-1. But we have come a long way since then so we can win this. Just a pity it is another away draw.

3-0 to Lynn. Will Norwich V Man City affect the gate even though it is a 5:30pm kick off? Nevertheless, I'll be surprised if it is not around 1250.
