General Discussion / Re: National League North composition 2023-24
« on: May 15, 2023, 07:52:37 PM »
Well we are no longer the furthest South in the northern league. Bishops Stortford 70 miles south of KLTFC now have that to contend with.
Tamworth back again in the same league as KLTFC, not the most welcoming place to go to.
South Shields being the beast of a journey up north

all of them going to the sword at Lynn If they sustain their original side with a few more good ones

General Discussion / Re: Play off final today.

Would you all be saying the same had we won the play offs?
I don't think so.
It's how the league works, not just ours but most of them.
We didn't turn up for the play off game, and that's not anyone else's fault.
We had an excellent opportunity with home advantage in both potential games and blew it. Sour grapes won't alter the fact.
Go again next season. We know the format and that won't change.

quite agree with you Jesus; there is the question of a new manager for the kiddies that motivated that team, giving Hughes the chance to motivate the linnets for the next season; still being full-time will probably see at least 60% of our players staying with us; considering the loss at Buxton with going down to 9 men and calls for discipline in the ranks, then being shoddy against both games against Farsley that were our nemesis. Next season is all about tenacity drive and above all, discipline and sheer guts and determination beat the lower teams as "Cobra Kai" motive "no mercy" is our motto for next season; winning those games against bottom clubs will see us through next season as automatic champion; there is possibly one team that might test is Scunthorpe

General Discussion / Re: Kidderminster it is
« on: May 07, 2023, 02:44:48 PM »
Massive game day for club & fans....this present kldderminster outfit are a shadow of a side that we beat 3-0 earlier in the season..🙄 and with 750-1000 fans behind them it will be incredibly difficult......
But with Tyler Denton and Cameron Hargreaves back in the fold I feel we can just scrape through🙏
Sending my best wishes to everyone at kings lynn fc 👍 see you there 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

It was not todays game that undone Lynn but the two losses against farsley celtic which would have taken Lynn beyond afc fylde still notts county lost 2-1 at home to :glum:

Full live commentary on King's Lynn's latest National League North game. Kick-off at 3pm.

very good commentary from the curzon radio team very fast coomentary really knew his job but some comments made about Barret and gold not being with the club next season was a bit puzzling as they knew something we did nto

General Discussion / Re: Lowly teams cost us.

:oldman" :farmer: Ultimately it would appear we will now be in the playoffs as I write this, to many drawn matches and defeats to teams in the lower reaches of the league have cost us the title and automatic promotion.
However I would just like to express my gratitude and appreciation to Mark and Hugo, for there immense contribution over the past few weeks, they have really taken the team to new levels not seen under TURNCOAT TOMMY, they instilled belief in our team and we have really had an incredible run to push Fylde , they have praised the fans, not criticised and the fans have repaid there faith in numbers through the gate. On to the playoffs and in good form, we can still play National league football next season COYL :oldman" :farmer: .
Yes well done to the  duet of mark and hugo they have given this team hope and with Hargreaves and Denton back we could be playing national league football next season; however one thing the Curzon radio team said it was it could be the last two games for Joshua Barret and gold Omotayo has tommy poached them already;anycase make the playoff count cmon the boys

Lynn come from behind to gain a point away at Brackley.

1-1

It's likely that Hugo will be happy with that.

now the win against spennymoor and fylde hopefull curzon ashton could do us a favour and win

« on: March 14, 2023, 09:44:43 PM »
We are rather unpredictable lately so anything is possible tonight. The players are certainly good enough to get a win, hopefully that will be the case. I think TW is set in his ways with his starting 11 recently. Maybe start with Ponticelli and Cosgrave, even Omotayo too. However, can’t really see Tommy going with 3 forwards at the start. Still keeping positive, results go our way tonight and Fylde to play at home, all very much to play for. We are virtually assured a play off spot, so hopefully we are not settling for that. Let’s come away from Brackley with 3 points.

He 4 strikers on even 5 with barrett if you could call him a striker 1-1 final score pete sport did a huge favour winning 1-0 to chester

:oldman" :farmer: Unable to attend today, (bloody work), but just logged into forum and see Gold has another to his name, yes it’s a penalty but obviously he’s dispatched it into the back of the net, yes you should score penalties but many attempts are missed, just ask Josh Barret, not always easy. COYL.  :oldman" :farmer:
#that is 18 goals for gold showing his true form albeit a penalty but if you score it is a goal who cares which way it is

Got a good feeling he will see his career out with Lynn then BACK TO HIS HOME CLUB IN SWITZERLAND ;YEP HE WILL PAST THE 20 ,MARK THIS SEASON

Fancy him doing a waltz before doing another penalty or even a rumba :salute: :salute: :salute: :salute:
