Certain parts of the stand have long been called 'God's waiting room'.
Lots of regular supporters sadly no longer with us.

With reference to the raffle, I am sure there are loads of fundraising activities which could be put forward by the Trust and other supporters if there was enough interest among the supporter base in helping to organise them.

Agreed, Kitty.
Showing the flag round town to engage with Joe Public. as happened yesterday, showed a fresh and much needed approach to building our Club.

' The club is like a child to me'.
It's a shame he has never been able to grasp what the Club means to it's supporters. He would have had a far more vibrant business if he had.

We simply did not take our chances in the first half......could have been 3 up before they scored a soft goal and then the killer just before halftime.
2 more missed in the first 6 mins of the second half and goodnight sweetheart.

From what I read there was a long throw into our box which went into the net.
The dispute was whether Jones had touched it.
He said not in which case it would have been a goal kick.
The officials decided he did so it was goal.
Incidentally if a defender throws to his keeper but it rolls dtraight into the net a corner will ( should) be awarded.

I thought Tom Wilson looked a very good player, very composed and made some very good passes out of defence.

AL mentioned the lady Sec in reference to the rapid processing of paperwork to get Fin Barnes signed. I think her name is Julie Briggs.
Norman is still the matchday Sec.

I think he is carrying a knock ( whatever that means).

I totally agree with those sentiments but I also think AL has brought a new level of professionalism to the Club as a whole.
Perhaps he has given Mr Cleeve the confidence to adopt a slightly less hands on approach and to let others do their jobs as appointed.
That seems to be the case with the media team who have made a huge difference to this pre-seasonwith their output.
Hopefully it will continue and supporters will slowly but surely feel less like the 'customers' we have been over the pst seasons.

Being a life long supporter, like Rod, I totally agree with his comments re the Club owner's attitude towards his 'customers'.
However, to support the efforts of AL and his team on and off the field, I will pay the required entrance fee through gritted teeth in the realisation that SC doesn't have in him the capacity to change.
As the saying goes ' Do bears walk in the woods?'

The clubroom has been used for functions regularly through the summer so that is not an issue.
