The home page says match postponed.

That begs the question as to how we were able to do this, presumably without the match ref seeing the pitch, and Brackley were not?

I think Brackley used to have a benefactor named Sir Peter Parker who, at that time, was chairman of the Royal Mail. I don't know if he was also ' a man of means'.

Was there ever a realistic chance of that being played? Barely thawed, if at all, with a second night's heavy frost settling.

Yes indeed Kevin. I have had a long chat with Jodie and she has the ideas and enthusiasm to get the Club out and noticed in the community.

It's up to us, the supporters, to give her all the help we can when there is an event at the Club by attending and showing that her efforts are appreciated.

After so many years of inertia it will be hard to get that weight moving but once it does we can look forward to having the Community Club we have lacked for far too many years.   :scarf:  :scarf:  :scarf:

I just noticed on the home page that Blyth sell pies as part of the matchday catering.

If that was done it would speed up service and cut down the queues at Lynn games as they are quicker and easier to heat and serve than burgers.

A better viewing area for our disabled supporters. There used to be a raised platform level with the Hospital end 18 yard box a few years ago.

There is now a portaloo disabled facility near the Tenny Road toilet block which actually looks more accessible than the one in the block.

I think the update on his injury a couple of weeks ago was that he needed about 4 more weeks of recovery. Also Ben Stephens needed a couple  of weeks from that date.

Does anyone know the nature of the injuries to our two forwards?

No parking available at the ground, apparently, so where else might be convenient nearby?

Would have settled for a draw at 7.45 and credit to the team for battling back. Sounded to be  horrible weather for football.
