General Discussion / PITCH COVER DONATIONS
« on: January 23, 2020, 10:52:30 AM »
Make it happen ladies and gentlemen!

They’re going to keep us updated frequently so we know how well we’re doing and when we’ve met the target.

Believe we need another £1,300 to make the original £2,000 target.

Excellent.. perfect for the people who didn’t get chance to donate at the games the buckets were at, and then for people who can’t attend matches/live away! Let’s make this happen ladies and gentlemen!

Morning all,

For those interested we now have a donation link on the official club website  if you wish to contribute towards the cost of the pitch covers. Click on the ' match tickets ' section and the link will appear there. We will provide updates as to the totals as we progress. Thanks in advance for your support.

Doom and gloom..

I think with the appointment of Mark is a massive thing for the club and only positive can come from it.  Let’s be positive about the future, and back the club every way possible!

Perhaps a giving link on the KLTFC website will encourage more giving. It was successfull with the additional funds for the Turnstiles. I gave to the bucket a few weeks back but never carry cash to the game as a rule  :bankrupt: Were'as easy to transfer with paypal, apple or googlepay  :typing:

Watch this space, well not this space. But the official club website.

* I think they should/could also run this button with a target in mind and on show, and then run a tally of percentage raised to show how well we as fans are doing towards the total like the ‘Go fund me’ & ‘just giving’ pages do. This would give the whole raised money for the club a little incentive for the club to push the fans to raise the money, and publicise it through social media.  Think we could be missing the trick, if we just have a donate button! The power of social media, and facts and figures!

Bucket collection raised £714.16 at yesterday’s game, believe they were after £2,000 in total, with Cleeve funding the other half?

I think it’s a good idea to have something arranged with local car parks close to the ground. Only issue I can see us coming across with this, is they will need to be manned carparks with security/stewards. Which were short of the ground anyway.
The way I think they could over come this, would be for the division in between home and away fans to be slightly bigger, and a taller fence between, this would then free up a couple of the stewards to then man the car parks.

Then regards to the improvements, hopefully with Mark (Hearle) coming to the fort now, he can bring in some extra revenue to be able to put some of these plans into action. Plus as many would see yesterday there was a net division between home and and away, and it looked to be by half time this had been either ripped down or taken down!!

I was made aware against Boston @ Home, majority of the people inside the Napier were Boston fans, but this was just coincidence, and not that the Napier banning home fans! 👍🏼

Stephen Cleeve (via Twitter)

“Delighted that Ian Culverhouse will be our manager for another 2.5 seasons.  Huge news for the club and massive boost for our players who love working under the boss as they develop their careers.  Is there more to come?  This is Lynn there is always more to come - stay tuned“
