The chap I sit near to and I regularly try to guess the attendance. We're usually not far off. This time I said 300 and he said 450. A long way off and we just looked at each other and laughed. So did most of the people sitting around us. Kieran, I was there on Saturday, and without going into detail, I have reason to be able to assess crowd size. I would agree with you, I suspect the attendance figure was definitely close to accurate. I also know what a blatantly false figure looks like, they usually happen at FA Cup games. There is no good, financial reason, for a club to intentionally inflate an attendance figure. 18

Some rumours on the Aldershot forum tonight that Tommy has been sacked and the official announcement will come tomorrow. I think it's probably a false rumour, but it's interesting that someone wanted to get it going.
