A bit late now Mattydubster, but hopefully you didn't base your seating decision on Marcus' advice. As of w/e 4/10/21, cases for King's Lynn & West Norfolk were 329 per 100,000, all obviously very sad, whilst Solihull had 439 per 100,000, equally sad. Let's hope this is one set of statistics we can eventually put away.

I have been reading this thread with interest, and would like to point out that the VAERS system of reporting adverse events for Covid 19 vaccinations, is an open reporting system only, and not in any way evidence of causal links. I believe, certainly up until recently and I think still applies, England have had no deaths with a proven, causal link to any of the vaccines. Also, the same is true of many of the side effects, which unfortunately include a great many hoax reports (e.g. Fell over after drinking too much, Burnt by the hair straighteners, Sunburn, etc. etc.) The official data can be found https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-vaccine-adverse-reactions/coronavirus-vaccine-summary-of-yellow-card-reporting.

I am lead to believe PCR tests can vary in price, with the cheapest now costing around £60 and the most expensive costing over £300. Quite a broad range, but no real sign of a reduction.

Sorry, but we can't blame volunteers for a number of grown men who don't accept their own responsibilities. Why do those "grown men" need to be told by anyone to adhere to Covid regulations? It was quite obvious, that event would be monitored, and a reduced capacity is the outcome. Not the volunteers fault I'm afraid. I managed to stay far enough apart and still see what was going on.

I was at the game and in that stand, and it was perfectly clear to me that a large number of those in the stand were not adhering to the Covid guidance for a safe return to football for supporters. I can also confirm, they were asked to move apart into smaller groups to comply with the guidance as I witnessed it. Unfortunately, those requests were not only ignored, the unpaid volunteers stewarding the game were also abused for their trouble. I was also at the York match mentioned, in that stand and can state quite clearly, most of the trouble at the match, and there was plenty, was caused by the Lynn fans. There was even a glass bottle thrown by our own fans that could have injured a steward. Let's talk about the Chester game shall we? A few bans after that one. In conclusion, I can tell you now, from conversations i had and overheard, there will be many volunteers from Tuesday night, that will now be ex volunteers. What does that tell you when they were stewarding a game, with only 600 people and no away fans.
