General Discussion / Re: Todays Commentary
« on: September 08, 2024, 08:38:19 AM »
Well done Radio Norfolk, managed the first half, then second half went AWOL to cover something else. Are Lynn not worth bothering about, after half time.  No worries found a proper football commentary, Curzon Ashton doing it properly for the fans....take note Radio Norfolk.
That must have been online, radio was OK for the second half.
Just embarrassing that Lynn can't provide their own commentary yet Wroxham can for their matches.
I guess it is a matter of finding volunteers.
I had no problems listening to the Radio Norfolk online commentary yesterday, listened to the whole game on my smartphone!!

I wonder how close to the wire are we when the Chairman states he won’t be able to pay the wages in January I hope this isn’t the case I wouldn’t want to see the club go belly up

How come then do we have the money to very likely bring in
a new loan signing on Tuesday as well as eyeing up possibly
two other players!!  Is there still money from the Sport England
loan available or has that all been used!

General Discussion / Re: Season tickets, early bird discounts!

Someone obviously still thinks Lynn supporters are stupid!

Totally agree with you JB.
And with just a ONE WEEK window to buy an early bird ticket as well!!, what a joke!

People need to look at the 2023/24 prices announced by the likes
of ALFRETON, SCARBOROUGH, DARLINGTON, SPENNYMOOR, BUXTON,
and CHORLEY, to name but a few and most of who finished in the top half last season!

Add to that the fact we haven't been told who's staying out of those offered a new contract.
Also no news on what the matchday ticket prices are.

I personally didn't expect anything else from SC, perhaps he should be working
a lot harder on the commercial side of things or find another investor to work
alongside him.
I just hope that National League TV will show plenty of Lynn's games, 'cos that's where
my money will go!

Thanks for the reply WRH, much appreciated.
Unfortunately I did leave the ground before those announcements were made.

By the response to my above post, apparently no one on this forum that went to the Curzon game on Sat actually bought a 50/50 ticket!

Couldn't find anything posted on the KL website regarding the winning number

Will have to ask at the semi-final game I suppose, that's IF I go to the game or pay £9-50 to watch the National League TV stream!!

What was the 50/50 winning ticket number on Sat v Curzon as I unfortunately had to leave the game a little early so didn't get to hear what it was.

Great win for the team but was sad to hear that Ben Stephens was straight red carded near the end, what actually happened?
It's just as well that we have injured players returning for the play-offs with Theo Widdrington possibly out of play-offs as well.

COYL, we CAN do it  :scarf: :scarf:

I see Hereford have lost Levi Andoh (Defender) who walked today to join another club

They have also lost defender Thierry Latty-Fairweather who has been recalled by Burton Albion!

Biggest game of the season.  Any news anywhere?  Plenty from Fylde, but is it on the radio?  Team news?  Anything anyone?….

Commentary on Radio Norfolk from 7-30pm

Expect rain from about 8pm :glum:

As its looks like nothing from Radio Norfolk today, a very good app to download  is  This is the coast.   I believe they are covering Lynn Scarborough  today.
When you go into the coast app switch over to 'this is the coast extra' for the commentary.

With Junior now missing for a few weeks and no sign of King,  does leave us thinner than thin.  Could we do with a body or two through the door?

Jack Wilshere in need of matches, released by Bournemouth and nobody wants him. :scarf: :hello:

Nooooo!   He's just a candidate for the treatment room!
Has spent at least 40% of his Career injured  :oldman"

PAY AS YOU PLAY

Wouldn't cost us a lot then, would it   :laughcry:  :laughcry:

so many millions having been furloughed over the last 18 months then expendable money is not as free as perhaps it once was.

Ifs that's the case Mall then why would you then set the prices so high and try to get blood out of a stone.

I recently read up about a certain person's past dealings and must say I weren't very impressed!

2683 attendance. Massive V Sign to SC?

Well what does one expect when one hikes up the price of everything!

Will anyone take note.....I very much doubt it.

So more Southend supporters than linnets there.
I thought you were supposed to try to attract your local community supporters.

General Discussion / New Striker signed
« on: August 20, 2021, 05:17:46 PM »

Kings Lynn have signed striker Malachi Linton (21) on a season long loan from Div one Wycombe Wanderers.

With the squad number 14 it is hoped he could be available for tomorrow if he gets FA and National League approval.

WELCOME to Klfc Malachi and good luck.  :welcome:
