General Discussion / Re: CLUNAN GONE.
« on: March 03, 2022, 12:49:43 PM »
From a personal point of view the Football I saw played by IC’s teams at step 3 and then step 2 was the best I’ve seen at Lynn ( and away).   Off the Field was a mess.  That’s a given.

Two great seasons football wise.  You disagree with that side of things Chilly ?

I get your point Mallard, however step 2 & 3 was at a low level compared to where we are now.  Surely the point in the lower divisions is to win that division get the promotion and hope you win in the next Div and get promoted... The goal is to play in the football League Two and that would be a tall order if you look who the teams are. For me staying in the National League mid table winning games regular would be my aim. A good run in the FA Cup would be good too. Just my honest opinion as I see it.

General Discussion / Re: FANS FORUM ANYONE?
« on: March 03, 2022, 12:34:35 PM »
Anyone think there is a need for another fans forum? Chairman and manager in the hot seat? :dontknow:

Its a good Idea but it will never work! In my opinion the Chairman and manager would never take part. They can do that on here if they wanted to. Why not just add a "Category" on the main board
and see what happens.

8 players and a coach..   I've not seen 8 players play yet, let alone a team!

 Didn't think it could get any worse but it did. Just here to make up the numbers.  I've seen better players in the Sunday league.  We are really that poor, couldn't score at a blind date :banghead;

Win or lose it doesn't make any difference.  We're in for the drop what ever happens. Of course I'd love Lynn to win and a few more games too. However we aren't good enough to stay in this division.

Can't see the point in having anymore new players. It too late for us now at this stage of the season.  Maybe for next year! Well lets be honest, we do need better players for next year.

Woking visit on Tuesday.

What should expect from both teams?
Play football would be nice. Even a win still won't be good enough for us..

Its over now, no magic comeback. To be honest the writing was on the wall long time ago. Next year start again with new players and maybe 1 or 2 players from this year! thats if they want to stay.
The gap between this level and the one below is huge, more than most people thought. Problem is, if we won the league next year in the lower divison we would more than likey be in the same position for the next season.

People come and go all the time on Social media platforms. Its all part of the course. In the summer people use Social media platforms less and return in the winter or pack it in for good. We've all done it in the past, I'm sure of that.

Great result for Boreham Wood. Just shows what lower level teams can do on the day! A few bob in the kitty too.
