Hopefully Fylde will loose or a draw would be OK for us. We however need to win our last game if that's the case. We are playing well at the moment :scarf:

What a fantastic result :scarf: I really thought we lost the chance, however I believe we can turn it around. AFC Fylde are now on the back foot like we were for a few games. Well done guys you've pulled the results around.

Not seen any "Good luck Tommy " posts, on here or anywhere else!
Can't imagine why... :laughcry:

I'd like to wish him good luck however that's not going to happen. I hope it all goes tit's up for him!  :sinking:

We need to pick an attacking side and score some goals. The side that have been picked lately has not worked for us. Attack, Attack for a change :scarf:

Anton I think you will find Tommy was in charge when we actually got relegated.   He couldn’t save a sinking ship.

Culverhouse got us promoted running with a part time squad, which was a fantastic achievement when competing with a lot of full time Clubs at this level.  History indeed as you say,  but something that should not be forgotten.   Will Widderington achieve the same with a full time squad via the play offs ?   That remains to be seen.  Based on recent form, I have grave doubts.
I here what you say however the outcome was in no doubt even before Tommy was in charge. Maybe we all expect too much? It could even be the lower league suits us better as one of the best in that Div. As many I'm so frustrated with the last 7 or 8 games. We should be better! :scarf:
Sorry Anton, but history will show IC got 2 successive promotions and TW one relegation. Granted, TW had his work cut out, but as I’ve said before, he banged on that we only needed to gain one league position to stay up, he never achieved that. I’m not knocking him, or wish to compare him, he is very passionate and wants to be with successful with King’s Lynn, that is clear to see. He knows that the buck stops with him and I’m sure he feels the pressure, even if he doesn’t admit to it. We don’t have the right to promotion, it has to be earned.
We are assured a play off spot, Tommy needs to decide on his best starting 11, because at the moment it isn’t quite working. Should we miss out, then I would like to see TW stay for another season.
Fair comment. Lets just hope our last few games are wins ready for the play-offs.. Anything can happen in football

Why do people keep talking about  IC's side. It's history, you can't compare the two different sides.  Yes we've lost our way and have done so for several weeks. However we got relegated under IC and have a better side this year in my opinion. Team selection not always correct but we are still in with a chance! maybe!  :scarf:

No way back now for us. AFC Fylde will win the league easy now. To be honest I can't even see us winning the play off. Team selection has been a joke and it has shown. Least we did better than anyone thought at the beginning of the season. I'll be glad when the season is over. :banghead;

Not going to happen. End of the line for us. The writing has been on the wall for weeks. We even picked the wrong starting side. :banghead;

General Discussion / Re: Lynn lose ground in title race
« on: March 08, 2023, 04:15:04 PM »
I know we have talked about this before, but TW does not  seem to get what it costs to watch Lynn compared to other teams, I am a senior citizen and have been watching Lynn for more years than I can remember . 3 home games in a week, for me £51, I cannot afford that, and i know for a fact there are 30 or 40 more fans like me. Everything at the club is expensive, Programes, food and drink etc., I am not in the best of health so I have to have a seat, sometimes dirty, so at times I stay at home and hope that Radio Norfolk can be bothered to broadcast the game.  As for the recent results, the team is to negative. I will be very surprised if we go up.

Mac i am.in a similar position to you and as you say we are not alone in holding these views. Were it available i would love to see a league table showing gate receipts as a pefcentage of each club's total income....i bet it would be very revealing.
i agree. My pension hasn't gone up in real terms but the cost has on a daily basis has. Just don't have the spare money any-more. I'm lucky as I don't pay rent because I own my own property. However the electric, water, food, phone/broadband  and petrol has. Something has to give!   :scarf: :glum:

 Yeah you're probably right. Should have waited to post the next day. At the the time I was so disappointed with the result. We really did need to win that game. Still in with a chance and hope Fylde drops points.  :scarf:

Were just not good enough. Fylde will win the league. Good news is were will be in the play-offs but will get knocked out.  We don't score enough and our defence is weak. Even with a miracle and we get through the play-offs, we would have to get better players to stay in that division.

No surprise we lost really. It was on the cards as the last two home games were not really up to our normal standards. With the next two home games we need to win them both. AFC Fylde are looking the better side at the moment. We need to dig deep! :scarf:
