At the moment I can't see us going for promotion with the team we have so far! Yes I know we will be at a lower level but I'm concerned at our strikers not scoring enough goals. We need to score goals and plenty too.  I'm not even sure if we got promotion that would be a good thing! What I think is a couple of seasons in this league and build up to stay in the higher league.

Could this be why there has been a deafening silence on player recruitment in last few days? Or perhaps that's  the usual lack of communication from the club.
Sorry if Tommy goes but at the end of the day managers like footballlers move to where the money is best,he was brought in to try to save  the club from relegation which he failed to do though to be fair it was a bit of a poisoned chalice!
Anyone got Setch s phone number lol  I guess Mr Culderhouse isn't on the way back?
Not a chance. Its time to move on. Culderhouse did ok at the time. Nothing more and nothing less  :scarf:

Prices seem fair, what I expected really. If we have a good run people will pay.

Not really what I wanted to hear. Early days yet for the "Big Four" however I can't see us retaining all these 4 players.. See what happens in the next few days/weeks!  :scarf:

Being in charge from the start of the new season wiil be the difference for Tommy Widrington. Time will tell how things pan out over the 1st few games. One thing for sure we do need a good striker even at a lower level. Like the rest of you,I'm waiting to see who stays and who leaves.

I don't even know why we are even discussing Culverhouse. At the end of the day he is an ex manager who did ok at the time. We have moved on. We should be supporting Tommy for the next season and hope by being there from the start something great will happen, on and off the pitch.  :scarf:

Most Football clubs at this level struggle financially.  The gates won't pay anywhere near the cost of running a club.  What you need is really good sponsors who are in for the long term and can see whats possable in the future. The problem with Lynn as it is, won't get good sponsors with this set up. From nest season start afresh with better understanding between SC, the Manager and the fans and all who is involved.

At one time we would have thought a draw was good. We should have won today, shame about the 8 mins added on.. :scarf: Lynn are playing so much better.

Lets be honest, when does the council listen to objections? and still give permission. Like many of 100s if not 1000s of other local people  I've objected to many proposals and still they get aproved. What really anoys me the people who voted for the councillors don't listen to the voters who put them in office in the 1st place..  To the moderator, please remove the post if it's not within the rules of the forum.

Hiring out the B&G is a good idea but not for a musical event. Its far too small to make it pay.  Maybe be Hiring out the Corn Hall and the proceeds going to the club would be a better option. Just an Idea!
