Talking about town sive,  Forest Green have done well.
Forest Green have done exceptionally well, but they do have an energy mogul at the helm

Not writing him off, can see him jacking it in before the season ends. Just get the feeling he is here for something to occupy him for while until something better comes along. Time will tell. Been lots of rheteric, that has masked the fallout of the results, which have been no better than IC would have done. No decent signings since appointment, despite saying they would be forthcoming. Signed his son, bravo. Plenty of yap, not a lot of content. Hopefully i'm proved wrong, we' ll see.

I got that impression too on his first press conference when they were talking about beyond the current season.
Hopefully proven wrong, but all I've seen so far is a win against the worst team in the league

I was following the updates on twitter during the Halifax game and the admin seemed to be a lot more positive than I've previously noticed.
I assume they've been asked to focus more on the good, and that too we were playing better?  :scarf:

I too warmed to him. He seems assured. All the best to him :scarf:

He has a point to be fair. Playing out from the back is high risk, and low reward in our case.

"This group has a lot of potential, there's a lot of great players here. I'm hoping that I can add that extra bit of energy in midfield.

"I like to get around the pitch, break things up a little and chip in with the odd goal. We've got two tough games coming up, we'll give it our best shot and hopefully we can dig out a win."

Sounds to me as if he’s been promised that his name will automatically be on the teamsheet for Saturday.

Hopefully he's eager and energetic. I get the impression that he's the water carrier type and will maybe free up the other midfielders(?)

Watching the amazing Stockport game last night and  the big fan base and the professional setup..............then realise how so far away we are from that. The twitter stuff just sums it all up.

What a game that was!

So IC said about changing the style of play, what do you think the new game plan will be and how would you set the team up?

It just seems to echo Norwich's situation. Of course I'm not qualified to say so, but I'd suggest a more pragmatic approach. Sit deeper, 442, lump it up to Omatayo and 'Inshallah! ' at this point :coffee:

So is he a midfielder or forward ?  King replacement or option up front ?
Was hoping for more of an out n out striker …
Do say he’s a good baller so fingers crossed
From what I've gathered he plays either side or behind the striker.

How petty from such a 'reputable' chairman. I certainly wasn't made of money at 18 and would try the same trick with bus fairs, cinema etc.
