Have to respect JR's starting 11, personally, I would prefer Omotayo as a sub. He hasn't scored and for me doesn't offer enough elsewhere, we are a better team playing the ball on the ground rather than long balls that he doesn't win.
No complaints with the way Kidderminster broke the play up with time wasting, we would have done exactly the same thing. We played well and gave it our all, just couldn't unlock a well organised defence. No shame in losing tonight. Williams deserved his man if the match, he is some player.

Yes Mallard, Chorley will be favourites, as we were against Darlington I guess, but it doesn't always go that way. Imagine we would view a draw today as a good result. After watching both our home games, although we drew both, I feel we are good enough to win today and certainly shouldn't fear Chorley, or any team in this league, respect them yes of course. So impressed with Nyahwema, if he plays to his full potential he causes our opposing full backs (especially if he plays on the left I feel) so many problems.
For me this season it is more about enjoying the attacking style that James Rowe plays. I think with that results will be more favourable.

We played good attacking and entertaining football again. Compared to last season, that was very pleasing to watch. Had enough chances in the second half to win the game, but Darlington defended well when they needed to. Not at all disappointed in the result, we have a great team and a very good manager.

Another very good performance, sounded like we very much dominated the game. I said recently if we could take our chances we would be unplayable. Credit to James Rowe, he has amassed quite some squad. Looking forward to Saturday and hopefully a quick north east double. Well done you Linnets.

Well Quinn, you were right, Mallard focused on mostly negative stuff.
Marriott isn't the player he was before, he barely got in the Boston side. A colleague of mine and Boston fan said he lacks pace and at 34, isn't at the age that JR seems to want.
I was at parkrun this morning, along with 3 Telford fans. I said to them, we create lots if chances but don't take them. When we get better at doing that, we will be unplayable.

Excellent performance, missed too many chances, but very entertaining football. Nyahwema looked very classy and deserved his man of the match award. Gyasi and Fleming also impressed.
Not disappointed in the draw, as we probably should have won, but a super performance. Credit to James Rowe, it's going to be a good season judging from today's showing.

I think 5-0 is very optimistic, or just your wishful thinking Spiv. Somewhat disrespectful towards Telford too. They won promotion through the playoffs, which is no mean feat and are currently on an 18 competitive game unbeaten run.
I think we will create lots if chances, we just need to score from them. I said earlier between 1500 - 1800. Anything less than 1300 would be disappointing. Score prediction 2-2, we didn't keep a clean sheet in any of our pre season games and thought we looked vulnerable against Spalding.
Looking forward to the new era. Win, draw or lose, we all need to stick together and enjoy the fact that we have a football team to support.

Been watching Lynn since around the late 60’s, but lost interest after the Kidderminster playoff defeat and only went maybe 4 times in the last 2 seasons.
With all the changes - owners, new manager and players, I decided to purchase a season ticket for this season, which is the first time I’ve ever done that.
I went to the Spalding game and liked the look of a few players, notably Hall-Johnson, Forde-Brown, Nyahwema, Gyasi. Think maybe Chadwick shouldn’t venture so far out of his area though.
I remember FC United fans being thankful to have a team to support and did so whether they won, drew or lost. That is how it should be as I think we are a work in progress. Liked what I saw v Spalding (result was irrelevant), played from the back passing the ball, a much more pleasing style of football.
As for Telford, obviously would be great to win, but it really isn’t the be all and end all. Think we will be attack minded and put in a good performance. Attendance wise, 1500 - 1800.

Its not a competitive game so yes I expect he will. Question is though, will he ever play for us. Would have thought we would have seen him in home colours during pre season. Wonder what JR's reasons are for not doing so. Hope he does well at Stamford and we eventually get to see him.

I can probably be classed as a fickle supporter (?) in that purchasing a season ticket is not a sensible option for me but as previously mentioned, if such as a flexible ten ticket bundle were on offer at a reasonable price i would most certainly purchase one but the current cost of buying a ticket a day or two before a game is too rich for me. More a case of principle than affordability.

My season ticket cost £249, that works out at just £10.82 for each league game. Everything is looking so much better than last year with a much more appealing style of football. Looking forward to the start of the season.

Looking forward to the new season. Only time will tell but JR has recruited what looks a good squad. I think we have 22 players at the moment, so I expect there will be a few departures.
Hoping that Adam Marriott can recreate his form of old, I've been told he lacks pace, so we shall see. Impressed with JR and I think he will adopt a more entertaining brand of football than we saw last season.

Lots of new players, I think it was always going to be the case. Pleased we have a last got local lad Toll, I think he will do well once he has adapted to the step up. Nice to see Marriott back, although speaking to a colleague who is a Boston fan, said a while ago that Marriott lacked pace, so not expecting too much. JR will need time to get the team how he wants it, but I'm sure he will, a little bit if patience is going to be needed from the supporters.

Fantastic signing, well done JR and thanks to Gary Setchell for his part. A natural goal scorer and from Lynn too. A couple of steps up from Corby, (Jamie Vardy made the step up 😀). I have no doubt that Fletcher will be a huge success and quickly become a favourite amongst fans. I wonder who will be wearing the number 9 shirt this season. Welcome Fletcher, really good that you're now a Linnet, good luck💙💛
