This calls into question exactly what is the modern day role of the coach if it is not primarily about tactics and player motivation? Surely that is where the buck for inconsistent and underperformance should stop?
what's happend to praise in public, boll*k in private.

With David newton he has a track record of being a successful businessman and you can see and know what his business is and where his wealth comes from and what he's done over the years to get where he is now.He also took on a club that was on its knees after all the problems and fall out they had when Steve Evans was there. It must be nice to have a Chairman where you can actually see and check the facts

Not a drab affair. It was a very good match with both teams going for it. Lynn had the best of the first half, Brackley the best of the second. A fair result in the end. How can people comment on a match and run it down when they don't attend.
a week is a long time in football :glum:

The calling out of players publicly is poor from Lakeland. There is never any self reflection at all and any poor result never ends up at his door.
don't you think that's normal for club officials here?I didnt see a few regulars there today.I didn't see Cleve or Mr and Mrs Back or Johnny Allflat and a few other regulars..Do we read anything in to that. Are they keeping their heads down?

Hopefully if we can get into the play offs this will encourage Jo to pay another visit to watch what his money is buying.

Then again maybe we won’t be seeing him anytime soon. Hopefully SC has been working on other avenues to bring in support.
Mallard he's working on that one already and it's called phone a friend.

If we don't get to plays off and promoted I don't think Jo will hang around next season so Stephen Cleeve and his money will be needed again

He said that lakeland sold the vision of the club to hm.Maybe he'd like to let on to the supporters what that is!

As for selling Omotayo.....only one club would be silly enough to pay a fee for him. Unfortunately that's us.

We 'kind of paid' £75,000 for the waste of space.

Flid saw us coming when they bought Jordan Tunnicliffe off us in 2017. We never saw the money for him and eventually, after going through various legal barriers, we got Gold in lieu of the fee.
do you want him back for £35000

The game was over after 11 minutes when they scored.there was no way back for us because we can't score goals. What excuses tonight from the manager?

Who knows maybe it’s getting to AL.   The travelling to Norfolk from the North West, the frustration of players not wanting to come to Lynn and indeed a player choosing to go to part time Alfreton.  Chuck in the fact we were in their challenging for the top shop a few short weeks ago.  Come Tuesday we could well be outside the play off places.

Even the situation with Cleeve, Jo/Bal situation might be giving him concern

Surely a manager with such a stellar reputation wouldn't have 'signed on the dotted line' without doing some basic due diligence re such as ownership structure, implication of our location and its possible impact on player recruitment, added to the need to regularly be up at the crack of dawn to travel down to his place of work etc etc?
You think?

If his boss never takes any blame for anything why should Adam Lakeland?
