Really? It was £9 for a concession at Worksop Would be nice B&G

Why should it be any difference? Same teams, same competition, same round of the competition, same costs involved for each team, same distance for supporters to travel. :dontknow:

Why should it be any different? Stephen Cleeve!!

King's Lynn were very lucky to escape with a point. Fairly solid at the back and largely uninspiring in attack.
The beds were too comfortable in the hotel for the overnight stay so a few of the players had problem waking up on Saturday morning.

Big Jack never used to have to reply on the ball bouncing off his ass before it crossed over the line!

Yes it's good these days although any thing we have has got to be better than what we had to put up with in last 20 years or so

My first visit this season and my last. It was schoolboy football. Are they really full time and if they are what is the manager doing with them?
We have a great lump of a "centre forward" that is unable to get off the ground and gets pushed off the ball all the time, did we get him at a discount?.
This was rubbish, a relegation looking side.
I paid £19 for a seat it was not merchantable quality and I want my money back!!!
It sounds like you think it's Waitrose prices with Aldi quality?

AL mentioned the lady Sec in reference to the rapid processing of paperwork to get Fin Barnes signed. I think her name is Julie Briggs.

Norman is still the matchday Sec.
is it the match day secretary that has to go to every game home or away?If so I don't think thats norman these days.I don't think we've got a health and safety man in position yet since the last one left.I'm not sure on that one as we don't hear a lot from the club unless its to do with the games which is better than it used to be

Adam has said that he don't consider himself to be somebody that makes excuses.Reading previous things he said and now this one its starting to sound that way.
Maybe he thinks he's the only lynn manager that has faced this. Its all part of the job for him and the players to deal with it and they all knew it when deciding to take the Chairmans money.

Always amazes me that everything is wrong when we lose but everything is fine (assume it is as nobody talks about it) when we win......
Adam Lakeland says he shares the frustration of supporters following the 2-1 defeat to Peterborough Sports in the A47 derby at the Walks.
1) Moan about the supporters although apparently its not a criticism, although if its not its a close run thing.
I have no issue with people who pay their hard-earned money to come and watch us and the crowd today in terms of the numbers was great, but it's the quietest we've been and, yes, we've got to give them something to get behind.
But when you go and concede an early goal, it went very flat in here and obviously they score a second goal and it went flat and it probably wasn't until we scored which was late on that we started to hear them.
That's not a criticism because we've got to give them something to get behind, but sometimes football players need the supporters more when they're losing.
It’s easy for people to applaud when things are going well, but generally in football, you learn more about everybody when times are tough.
We were playing quite well, but it was tough and frustrating there and maybe the crowd could have helped us just inject a little bit more energy and a little bit more life into that performance.
2) Moan about the opposition and the ref.
I thought the better team lost, and we gave away two really poor goals at really bad times and ultimately that cost us.
It just allows the opposition to control the speed of the game and we need to play with energy and tempo and it is so hard to do that when every time there's an opportunity for them to go down, they go down, every time the keeper has got the ball he’s taking an eternity, every time it's off the pitch for a throw-in it's taking an eternity and you need a referee that acts on that, tries to inject a little bit of speed into the game.
3) Moan about the ref continued.
I don't think he did it - I think it took him until the 87th minute to book one of their players, which is just not good enough.
And to only add five minutes on, I just find that bamboozling when there's been, what, eight substitutions and so much break-up of the game.
Because I think if that game went on for a few more minutes, we might have conjured up another chance.
4) Moan about the result.
I feel like a draw was the least we deserved, but I can't fault the players other than the goals we gave away. I thought we worked right until the end, and it wasn't to be.
No mention of the team selection or tactics not working on the day. On to Saturday!
