I can understand the odd dismal performance from any team half way through a season but not the 2nd game when everyone should be fresh and really up for it

Just seen the goals on the Alfreton twitter site. They seem pretty soft particularly the 2nd where their guy runs between two Lynn players without a challenge being made and the 3rd where somehow our defenders including Gold I think miss a direct throw in ........very disappointing
I've seen more discipline and awareness in a Fryatt and Back team!

I listened to the excellent commentary which suggested that the Alfreton game plan, of giving Lynn little or no time on the ball, worked to.perfection.
Lakey in edp not very complimentary saying Lynn was not recognisable from team in the opening game of the season and we were outmuscled.Lakeland saying he knew exactly what game would be like and the threats they had but his team didn't stand up to them.

With the improvement of media coverage in recent weeks I was hoping to see Lynn’s opening day victory on the club’s YouTube channel. Alas, so far no show.  Instead, I was able to watch Warrington’s version with commentary. And very fair it is. Lynn should, at least, be able to offer this for home games which, for long-distance fans like me, would be appreciated. On the plus side, the manager gets good coverage after each match.

I was told that the bloke that does the media is not local and isn't going to games anymore so I don't know what that means or if it will effect things or not.Shame if it does. After all his hard work why would he stop going to the games?

I spoke to the head of media (Travis) on the phone the other day on the club phone and he is fantastic he said he will be there every home and away game so not sure what where that's come from  :dontknow:
is he the one that lives in yorkshire if so give him another call and see if your can find out whats going on.Not sure why he would tell you he was going to be there home and away if we are talking about the same bloke  :dontknow:

Good to see another new sponsor at the club. Look forward to trying the dessert.
do they accept crypto?

Outside of Lynn who do they think is going to pay to watch a Lynn game?
With all these subscription channels after people money, it’s just encouraging people to look at different way of watching live games without paying?Stephen needs to be careful here as it could cost and not earn money. It may even be better to go it alone and broadcast it himself.its easy enough to do these days and companies calling them broadcasters are two a penny.
Plus if people take an annual subscription it’s discouraging people from attending games and therefore no up sell from that customer. That can’t be good for our new sponsor if part of the deal is that he can sell his product at the ground on match days.

I think you guys are onto something here....obviously the room names need changing to reflect a football club.......changing room, officials room, boardroom, showers, VIP lounge etc Not sure if the old lead piping could stay, but most of the other objects need replacing...suggest rope by scarf and there might be a case for a football rattle, team key fob and the 1970/80s match day hot tea I guess. Think the characters names need to reflect the global reach of the club these days, to reflect the investment opportunities........I will put forward the name of Gus from Sparta.

Spot on Paul good to see fresh money being pumped into the Club.  Lessens  the load  on Joe and indeed SC.   Does anyone know the anonymous sponsor of the main stand has renewed yet ?

Can we assume these new deals coming in are the results of the new International Manager that SC was advertising for a few months back?  Anyone know who it is ?

Could the International Manager and Joe be one and the same? Surely there is a commercial opportunity here for our entrepreneurial club owner to launch a board game, loosely based upon Cluedo?  Find the sponsor,, identify the investor etc etc??
Nocluedo or call my bluffs?

Isn't it the Mick Wright Terrace at the Tennyson end of the ground?

I wonder what happened to the three investors that Cleeve found in January but couldn't invest until the summer.

But did he say which summer?
I don't think many take much notice of what he says or when he says it these days
