General Discussion / After match game?
« on: August 21, 2016, 12:15:59 AM »
I was unable to attend the game today as unfortunately work had first dibs on me,but did many people stay behind for the game on TV, and did they take full advantage of the beer prices?

General Discussion / Supporters groups.
« on: August 18, 2016, 08:07:31 PM »
Just out of interest we have three supporters groups now,we Have the Trust,we have the FOTL and we have the new Members club, would be interesting to know membership levels for each association? Would be interesting to know in relation to membership fees the benefits members could receive? The trust membership is 10 a year, the new Members scheme is 25 a year and the FOTL is I understand still 5 a year,so who delivers more bang for your bucks? :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

General Discussion / JUST IN CASE.
« on: August 06, 2016, 09:37:59 AM »
Just in case people didn't know, we kick off the season at home to Merthyr this afternoon, is it just me or has very little been done to raise the profile of this game?  Not really much hype or bigging up the game, feels like quite a lethargic start to the season?  :glum:

General Discussion / Entrance fee?
« on: May 22, 2016, 12:06:21 PM »
I think we can safely assume that the reserves entrance fee will remain the same going on what we have heard from Tazz,  but will the first team remain the same considering Setch is pulling in advertising /sponsorship?  :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

Big well done to all players and backroom staff tonight, very fast paced game, bit scrappy at times. But again well done, 3-1 win,and a crowd of 169. :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

General Discussion / Longest suffering supporter.
« on: February 14, 2016, 02:01:48 PM »
Was talking to young Gerald at a reserve game the other week, he was telling me he had been attending Lynn games for 56 years, what other long standing supporters still attend every game? Maybe a slot in the hall of fame for long standing supporters?  :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

General Discussion / Attendances.
« on: February 11, 2016, 07:13:10 PM »
Just glancing through the attendance leagues, and although the first team attendance has dipped, the reserves and youth team attendances are equal to even top teams in the UCL. Is this simply down to cost, fewer regulars attend away games so attend reserves and youth teams to get their fix,or is it more down to parents friends and family attending? :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

General Discussion / DISCOVERY CENTRE.
« on: January 25, 2016, 10:21:30 PM »
Many people in town will know of the work done by the Discovery Centre, without places like this there would be nowhere for kids to go,as an ex Youth worker myself I know only to well the importance of keeping these places running. At the moment there is a massive shortage of funds to keep all the groups going, any small donation towards the shortfall, and a massive shortfall is is will be greatly appreciated,we cannot afford to lose any facility that caters for young people,if you can afford to give a little then please do,but if you can't can you please share the link as far and as wide as possible, many thanks.

General Discussion / Charity.
« on: November 04, 2015, 06:51:22 PM »
Was just wondering to myself as i often do,when the club first reformed they ran events for a chosen charity, first one i believe was the Purfleet trust,my brother was then the community man. I notice that this coming saturday we are having a match played in shirts adorned with a poppy i believe these same shirts will be auctioned, also a bucket collection by the ATC,would i be right in thinking monies collected will go to ex-services charities? My other thought is would it be possible to arrange something to aid the Purfleet trust again, this very worthwhile charity is in desperate need of funds.
