General Discussion / Suddenly remembered?
« on: September 28, 2018, 10:37:18 AM »
We have a game this weekend in case anyone had forgotten. Tough challenge as Banbury have only lost one game. A test to see how far we have come. I feel a 1- 0 win coming on, not sure about the attendance.
Will the appointment swell the ranks?
Start a trend,bring a friend.

General Discussion / FA Cup Saturday?
« on: September 16, 2018, 11:24:53 AM »
Couple of good outings for Rob, Neil and the boys, is this enough to drag a few more through the gate on Saturday, and will Mr Cleeve be dropping the price again? Would be great to see a large turnout, the boys would certainly appreciate it, so bring a mate and swell the gate.  :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

General Discussion / I think there is a game on tomorrow?
« on: September 07, 2018, 11:30:31 AM »
It has to be think because I think the advertising has hit rock bottom again, not even hearing it on KLFM? I am going to predict a draw 1-1 and an attendance around the 400 mark? From what I hear online sales are struggling to hit double figures, can anyone confirm? Will be sad to see a low crowd especially as the price has been dropped, are people just losing interest? Are they losing interest because they feel that despite the pre season hype regarding extra gate money being put to use assembling a league winning squad, the feeling is a play off place would be a struggle at the moment? :dontknow:

General Discussion / Programme notes?
« on: September 01, 2018, 01:42:17 PM »
I see that according to Twitter that our illustrious Chairman is making another announcement in his programme notes that requires people to hold on to their tickets? Any guesses as to what, maybe a draw, what if strangely enough the ticket belongs to an away fan and the prize is never claimed, and what about season ticket holders and online tickets?  Any clues Stan and LUFC1992KLFC?

General Discussion / Onward and upwards.

So now we have that all important first win under our belts we have the bank holiday weekend to look forward to. Two big games within three days against local rivals, first up we entertain St Neots will we top the 1000 mark for that game? Bank holiday travels to Lowestoft and I think we will travel with more than the hardy 35 souls who saw todays game? Apart from the obvious desire to gain the points I think pride and bragging rights are at stake as well? :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

General Discussion / Go fund me.
« on: August 15, 2018, 02:35:21 PM »
I have noticed that a good fund me page has been set up to pay the costs that the football club have incurred in the wake of the play off games? Is this not taking things a little bit too far, the football club is a business and is paying for a mistake, will we now start seeing go fund me pages for every company that makes an error of judgement? Many local charities would have made far more use of that money!  :banghead; :banghead; :banghead;

General Discussion / Tamworth.
« on: August 15, 2018, 11:36:58 AM »
So on to Tamworth Saturday, what a day that will be, will fans travel to watch the team the way it is currently playing? Sad that it is only the third game of the season and fans are already disenchanted with the new set up? First time for many years that I have stood at a game and the Lynn fans were so condemning of the management? Will the manager and players manage to turn it around Saturday or will it be more of the same? Another loss on Saturday would cost us dearly, as the next game is a home game, and form brings people through the gate, and we need those people through the gate to pay the bills, vast amounts of money haven't been thrown in, so every 13 is vital?  :dontknow:
