If you take into account that the venue will hold between 150 and 200 people that would mean takings of between 19,500 and 26,000. Take out the costs and there will be a healthy profit,a profit that he couldn't hope to match by making presentations at the club? :bankrupt:

Perhaps it is priced that high and made a black tie event to keep the oiks away who pay week in and week out to watch the team! Will the presentations be there or not? If yess it is a sack in the face for the normal fans! :red card:

Starting to think the omens are against us.   Another long midweek haul to come, added to what is becoming an overcrowded fixture list.  Was it IC or SC who ran over that black cat ?

Have a funny feeling this time next week York will be two points ahead of us with Boston just a single point behind.
Have you thought of becoming a motivational speaker, Mallard?
Think mallards the type of bloke to wait until happy hours over before entering the pub
Cmon mallard none of this doom n gloom were in a great position and IC will know how to motivate
the lads ( if needed) for the up coming games  , Im sure come next Saturday well all be singing from the same page  :scarf:

Singing some from the same page, but not in the same place,Stan will be singing along to the homepage and Nick from the footpath. :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

100%  agree dillydilly - if it is called off I hope the rest of the league games are as well  so we don't have an even bigger back log of games compared to the rest - feel for the chairman having to fund the wages with no income  but safety comes first.

Hope he has some to come back via Gloucester? :dontknow: :dontknow: :bankrupt:

I think the last quiz was a Trust/FOTL collaboration? :scarf: :scarf:

Griss, the last Quiz was a Trust event, with the co-operation of the Chairman.

Well maybe the next one could be a joint venture? Far bigger circle of volunteers to help with raffle prize contributions etc? Could pave the way for many other joint ventures? :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

I'd be in favour of retro shirts and it is a big and popular business now. I guess the problem, as for all merchandising for lower and non league clubs, is economy of scale with the purchasing. Would the club be able to justify buying enough to make the price attractive for them and us? Maybe something for Mark H to look into.

Maybe if a small shirt printing business could be linked up with then some one or two off retro shirts could be reproduced?

Many sportsmen take out insurance to cover them for injury, and normally the premium they pay would cover the short term injury? Many policies will only cover up to a certain amount, and maybe his insurance has reached the limit? Being a sportsman it is very difficult to judge what cover you would need? :dontknow:
