Should be a good test as Dover have the best away record in league

Small matter of going to Hereford midweek to overcome first.

As much as IC and his squad keep producing great results, maybe Saturday was a bit of a wake up call - we swapped a few in and out and that maybe combined with a slightly heavier pitch meant we weren't that fluent, particularly first half, IC changed the shape multiple times during the course of the game but I think the damage was done in how we started - looking to go long too early and we never really got into our stride.  We need to bring the likes of Carey through but it can be a pretty unforgiving environment at times, fans just need to be patient and accept that whilst we are a good side, we can't expect to turn teams over every week - particularly in a cup game where the opposition have set up to play for the replay from the off.

If we wish to progress I think we need Clunan and Henderson on from the start.

I think they should just reintroduce the face in the crowd feature in the programme?

I would like to see, (if it were legally possible) that within the 'Safeguarding Statement/Club and Supporters Charter, call it what you will, a list of club responsibilities to fans and a list of fans' responsibilities whilst in the ground and a statement to the fact that when in the ground, by the act of buying a ticket, fans agree to adhere to the rules and moreover agree to indemnify the club for any financial loss arising from non adherence. If this were possible the club could seek recompense from individuals for fines and this would hopefully be a huge disincentive for unsuitable behaviour.

That would be some hell of a long statement, there is a short statement of expectaion printedin the programme and in some places around the ground, basis is 'treat me a a human being and I will treat you as one'! Just that the idiots who break the rules have got away for too long, that is why the current crop are making headlines!

I do Stan, but too many it is equally the quality of the beer as well as the price that puts them off,and dare I mention plastic cups! :cheers:

Name and shame, whats the point of keeping it quiet for their sake? They'll probably be bragging about it on social media by the end of the day. If we get hit with points reduction or fine is it fair on the supporters or more so the players who have put everything into the season. Life ban seems more appropriate

One has already taken to social media!  :banghead;

The same club official in his programme notes said he hoped for a 10th - 12th place finish. Should I take it thatís the clubs view?

Also, with regards the crowds I personally only take it as true if it comes from the chairman. Heís not told us what attendance the budget is based on?

Well people tend to take any opinion shared by a trust offical as representing the trust? :dontknow:

255
At the beginning of the season did not Mr Cleeve say that his break even attendance would need to average 750/800?

Grissles, if my memory is correct, I think you have got the correct figure, but the wrong  Club Official.

It was also an opinion, not a fact.

Does that mean that everything we are told by a club official is just an opinion and not a fact?  :dontknow:

Itís up to you what you want to believe.

When an official from the club quotes figures then people generally believe them,or are you noe inferring that officals twist the truth? :dontknow: :dontknow:
