Seems people more intent on trivial nitpicking than discussing a bus! :bus: :dontknow:

In sure there is a misunderstanding somewhere.  Surely the Application for this event would have gone into the council and permission obtained before tickets went on sale with the advertising.

Surely the obvious answer is that this event is being held in the B&G club and not The Walks Pitch.   Maybe a printing error ?

I’m sure Melon will confirm

Well without casting too many nasturtiums, why would Mr Cleeve  and Mr Trinnis worry about permission? Once tickets have been sold it is money in the bank,if permission is refused then that money is held in obeyance? I believe many years ago that Stautus Quo wanted to play the walks, but refused due to complaints by the residents? :dontknow:

I do plenty for nothing. You heard of Festival Too?
But no I’m not doing events at the Blue & Gold for nothing. I simply book the venue just as you or anyone else can. I then host my own events there.
You seem very interested, do you want the ticket link 😀

Will Howard and that event be in the ground or the bar? P.S. If in the ground how would you police Whiley hill? :dontknow:

Why would the club pay me?

You don't normally do anything for nothing?

Here’s the info on the Bez show from the horses mouth 😀.
Yep it’s in the Blue & Gold and also features live act Franko Fraize plus some decent local DJ’s.
We did a very successful show in the B&G with punk act Snuff last month so thought we’d put on a few more. As well as the Bez show on the 29th April we have Youth Killed It on the 21st May.

So are you charging the club or the club charging you? :dontknow:

Apparently there will be a musical extravaganza coming to the walks in the summer…..

That’ll do the “playing surface” a world of good…..

Maybe our 3G pitch will be down by then? :dontknow:

If mad rumours are to be believed then the latest one to reach my shell like is corker. Apparently there will be a musical extravaganza coming to the walks in the summer, courtesy of Twisted Melon promotions, headline act Howard Donald ex Take That, although personally I would prefer Howard the duck. Major DJ making an appearance not sure whether it is Bez or DJ Flames. Should pull a few quid in? :dontknow:

Anyone can raise funds to assist the club, you don't have to be part of the Trust or part of the Friends to help? Individuals can take it upon themselves to approach Mr Cleeve and discuss fund raising ideas? These ideas could range from something as simple as Stan doing a bucket collection or organising a masquerade ball in the ballroom at the Dukes head? Alternatively join the Trust or the FOTL or both and get involved,I know that the FOTL would love to see new members come forward to join the committee and provide some new ideas. And contrary to popular belief the Trust and the FOTL can work together as we have seen in the past, and I hope to see again in the future. :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:
