So Tommy's still on holiday and everything grinds to a halt? Surely having just failed in his No,.1 task in saving us from relegation you go away right after the season ends giving you plenty of time to get the deals for New players sorted before the best ones are taken and we again left with the crud. Not getting Clunnan sorted is in my opinion a major error if he had been and it was announced surely this would have given supporters a bit more confidence in theclubs ambitions? Off to watch Heachams first friendly Saturday and maybe catch up with Mr Gash and Fryatt another Two ex players who were never really replaced. How come Heachams PR machine is constant and daily they are a village team (greatest respect to them) whilst absolutely nothing from Kings Lynn? Good luck next season Heacham and Kings Lynn I know which one I would be betting on At Heacham on Saturday you will also have the opportunity to speak to Cleeve and Tommy who will also be in attendance.
Gordon, did you hand deliver the invitations?

Lynnski I think you right, I watched most of Heachams home games last season and watched the crowds grow there were quite a few Lynn supporters plus others who saw Heacham as their 2nd adopted team including many holidaymakers The games were well presented on social media lots of competitions on the day, reasonably priced beer and food and run by local people who obviously love their club and respect their supporters ,it reminded me alot of the first seasons after Kings Lynn town were reformed -oh to have those days again!
You may be lucky and get your wish.

Just continuing with the amateur approach, then.

He is booked at two venues on the same day on other dates.... 'Double Bubble' if the venues are close enough to make it possible.
It has been tweeted that there are licensing issues with the event at The Walks. It has been suggested by Mr Cleeve that it is down to the Council. Possibly, another 'bridge' that will need some rebuilding.

Tommy certainly has some fixed ideas on how he will return us to the top Division of Non League Football.
SC and his new Commercial Manager will have their work cut out to fund all of that. I think the idea Tommy has of being handed responsibility for the full budget all connected to the playing side makes sense. I guess this would include.
Coaching, Medical and Management salaries Travel Overnight stays Signing on fees Players wages Transfer fee Training facilities including gym and swimming pool.
So only just about a complete u-turn required by the Owner to let go of control to this extent. Good luck with that. TW appears to have got his own way so far, how long will it last?

On getting promotion to National League North, I believe that IC's first aim was not to get relegated and expected to take a couple of seasons to 'consolidate' Lynn's status at the level, reassessing after every 10 games.
In some ways, the impact of the Covid PANdemIC has taken Lynn back to where this plan could be implemented again.

Who are the "scurrilous elements that hang about on the fringes of KLTFC" Who Mr Lakey refers to in EDP today?
AKA "Buffoons"?
I wonder if he'd like to put some meat on the bones of that comment? That could well be a scurrilous comment in itself.
He didn't say what day of the week that he goes round to clean Cleeve's car, either.

Yes, the impression was given that when 'Tommy' s Team' lost, it was because they had previously been coached to pass the ball too much. Yet, when 'Tommy' s Team' won, it was because he had played with Matt Le Tissier.

Where is Aldershot's next point coming from?

Blaming your own shortcomings on what went on over four months ago would be embarrassing to most. It is the equivalent of the current Norwich Manager taking a side swipe at the previous manager of Norwich for this week's defeat against Chelsea.

One thing for certain he got it right about Taylor.
Who got it right about Taylor?

Tommy has brought in 8 players since joining but are they really any better than what we had under IC.?
Does that prove that the Club has been under severe budget restraints since the end of last season?
So what have the savings through furlough, the £500,000 loan, FA Cup money and transfer deal income been used for?

Lee Johnson also got a 4 match touchline ban (and £3000 fine) for a recent red card when he was Sunderland Manager.

Or was it powers above not letting cully do his job ??? Wasn’t no secret about the interference , or was it he gave him the funds at the start but cully didn’t excel in some signings !! Little bit of me thinks after the last few games of his reign perhaps it was player power got him in the position to leave ..
The first line above may be relevant.
Last season with players furloughed so could not continue to develop the team. The Owner picking his own ineffectual trialists to upset pre-season. The Owner directly signing players to speculate... Yet IC players have yielded a good return when sold on (has that money been reinvested in the side?)
Good luck Tommy!
