I expect the 'youngsters' referred to are the high ratio of 19, 20, 21 yrs olds in the current team, including the loan players. With 3 most recent speculative signings by the Owner when experience was called for.
I seem to recall that the previous Manager requested 23+ aged players for the National League at the start of the season, realising the experience and strength of other teams from last season. A request that seemingly fell on hearing impaired ears.
Possibly, why King's Lynn are where they are.!!

Will the new Manager also benefit from the Owner continuing to sign players personally without any consultation?

Hopefully the loss of a young player like Joe will taste a little better by the cheque received for him from P’Boro
What cheque is that?
That will be the cheque that is proverbially 'in the post'.

Dear Mallard, The Manager optimistically built this side...he certainly cannot take the flack for the off field stuff , but on the field there is no one else...
Does anyone really believe that the Manager has been able to build this side without total interference and even hindrance from the Owner?

Reading SC in today's EDP explaining the events that led up to the transfer of Morais to Dagenham it would appear that IC had the final say.....
Yep, that's what the Chairman appears to say, so I guess that's got to be taken as correct. I can't think of any possible reason it's not.
It is great to see that the Owner has become a real man of the people, now appearing to keep fans informed about his diligent involvement in the Junior Morias transfer. So that fans do not have to 'concoct conspiracy theories', hopefully, in the next published article, a similar style 'blow by blow' account might explain the Joe Taylor situation that fans are not sure about.

Let’s hope the Manager or more likely the Chairman has spotted a winner with this lad coming in.
Think most supporters were hoping for a striker who would change our season. Not the new lads fault. Let’s just hope that this players turns out to be a cut above the other players the Chairman gave trials to pre season.
Quite agree, you are probably hinting at, that was not widely realised, that the Owner took it upon himself to use club resources to visit open trials around the country, with all his football knowledge, to select a dozen or so players. They then had to play in the pre-season preparation games. The handpicked trialists all proved to be short of the mark, outshone by the few younger King's Lynn Academy players who did get an opportunity to show how they were progressing.
That’s it Sam in one. Say it like it is. No point letting the grass grow. Didn’t realise it was as many as 12. No surprise that IC rejected every one of them. You would think lessons had been learnt. Now he is paying money for them. Let’s hope this lad comes up trumps.
It could be likened to the CEO of a Building Company thinking that he or she is a bricklayer. Going to site, not only to tell the bricklayers how to lay bricks but to actually believe they can takeover laying the bricks. Then we all stand back and wonder why the house is collapsing.

The second best thing the Owner of the club did was to appoint IC in the first place. The best thing the owner did was to realise the mistake of 'letting him go' and not being too proud to contact IC and persuade him to return.

"man management which doesn't appear to be SC's strength". Well spotted TonyM. Possibly, it may take more than a re-branding of burger and chips to alter that perception.

As I suggested before, maybe you need to build a team of people who have experience of playing up front at this level.... needn't be too expensive could be on a part time consultancy basis......get people like Gash, Simeon Jackson etc (not necessarily those individuals) to vet our targets before committing to them. We also don't seem to have great contacts, so somehow we need to develop these with other clubs....... expanding outwards to the catchment ( to supporters and to other clubs) and beyond ......... building friendships etc etc
And who would you suggest, within the club, need such advice and support from such 'playing up front' consultants.?

I'm no expert...but the 'lunk' van Dijk and the 'trier' Milner might have something to do with giving Salah the opportunity to do some 'nipping about'.
