General Discussion / Re: Away vs Weymouth (17th October)
« on: October 16, 2020, 12:30:27 PM »
I just think it is sad at how easy a loyal and trusted GK in Alex Street has been dumped to the wayside. By IC and by some supporters.... :dontknow: :dontknow:

Same thing happened when Danny Gay came here. Glad he left, possibly under a cloud, as he was supposedly a bad influence in the Changing Room.

Guess we will know pretty soon who is considered number 1 and who is understudy.

Was IC's thinking that we were due to play two good Teams (in Solihull and Boreham Wood) that we were unlikely to win so put Mair in goal to gain experience and rest Pedro for lesser teams like Weymouth?

Agree with Blueboy, it's Ross Barrows not Burrows.

I have noticed that spelling and grammar is, sometimes, not the best but I'm sure we can usually make sense of the occasional error. However, the correct spelling of a person's name is important, particularly to the person affected and their family/friends.

this Link from KLTFC website:https://www.kltown.co.uk/2020/10/09/live-stream-for-boreham-wood/

This extract confuses me "We have now been informed by our streaming partners Insight4 that all emails to season ticket holders have successfully been sent out.

We urge that you check your spam/junk folder to find the email if it doesn’t automatically appear in your inbox, please note it has been sent by Insight4 however it shows King’s Lynn Town FC as the sender.

If you’re a season ticket holder and are yet to receive the email, please do contact us in good time, so we can rectify the issues."

I did not get "The emial to Season Ticket Holders" snd checked my Spam so I contacted Club and received the email answer I Posted earlier ref getting it on Tuesday.

Given our current chairman's "motivational" Tweet earlier today, I duly signed up for the stream tonight - has anyone else signed up as I haven't had any sort of confirmation from Insight4 that they processed the transaction?  I have sent an email to the club but just posting on here to see if anyone else had any experience.  Thanks

Apparently you are not alone. Some are apparently still awaiting for passwords and user names, despite being season ticket holders.   :dontknow:

I'm still waiting for my Season Ticket Password as well.

Lynn take on Boreham Wood at Home on Tuesday evening. Boreham have Drawn 1 at Home and Lost their Away game so sit 3rd from bottom.

This is a chance for us to bounce back from a Thumping at Solihull and get back our confidence.

I am not sure about Chris Smith as a starting CH and would prefer Ross Barrows alongside MacAuley, Jones and Brown with someone sitting just in front (can we get Quigley back  :laughcry: :laughcry:).

Ryan Jarvis needs a rest and Clunan needs minutes as a starter.

Anyway, that's IC's job to manage and pick the team and formations - Will be watching on Live Stream so COYL

Kenny its to do with the signal beamed from there receiver at the ground, it was poor, if you go back to last Tuesday,  at Maidenhead it kept buffering, but if you listened to the Radio Norfolk broadcast it was at times 3 seconds ahead. The BBC have better equipment. Not saying this is the answer, but more than likely.

I think you mean their "transmitter" Mac.

I am in contact with Mark Hearle and he is getting back to me about cost. (See, they do answer.)

I shall buy at least one, possibly two if price is OK.

I had trouble logging on using their 2nd Auth Code  - tried it several times and it said incorrect.

Went back to Mail box and found a later email in Junk with correct Code. Why did they send 2 x Codes? Missed first 5mins.

Then Stream froze, broke up and refreshed loads of times.

However, it settled down and have to say "It's  early days in this Streaming for all Clubs" so teething problems have to be expected.

Maidenhead Streamer, you are forgiven and, all in all, it was a good program. Your Commentators were excellent and very fair. Thank you for your praise for all players on both sides  - sorry for nicking all 3points (not)  :laughcry:
