Much confussion about seats in the Stands, mainly caused by the "Block" lettering at the top. They bear no relation to the "Section" lettering printed on the Tickets.

I have emailed KLTFC and Mark Hearle replied that this was one of the tasks on the list to be addressed before the 2021-22 Season starts.

So "Watch this Space".

Sitting in my seat I was impressed by Morias the Weeble who wobbles but you can't knock him down. Strong fella.

Gold ran around a lot, making himself available but not getting the service to see what he might be capable of.

Cameron King? If he can keep fit he is equal or better that Sonny Carey. Just give him the space and he will make things happen.

Michael Gyasi? Slippery but takes on to many. AFC BNournemouth used to have a similar player back in the 70's - Greedy Groves. Head down and run into a brick wall!

I aqm not sure about our best set-up at the back. Aaron Jones is needed at R Back/Wing. Who is going to be our L side defender/wing attack? No one sprngs to mind yet.

Looking forward to seeing all the New Faces and those who aare still in Ian Culverhouse's plans.

Is the Forum Live Feed going to be available for Friendlies  :dontknow:

Hope too send a few Reports on how things are going.

General Discussion / Re: Gash & Jarvis leaving at end of season
« on: May 29, 2021, 09:53:51 AM »
Michael Gash has given his heart and soul to King's Lynn Town FC. His total commitment is evident as he chases every ball, either forward or in midfield and also at the back defending Free Kicks and Corners. At first I thought he was not as good as Big Jack Defty. However, he has certainly proved me (and others I am sure) wrong - Gashy is far quicker than Jack and just as effective in holding, laying off and scoring.

Ryan Jarvis has been quietly the most effective midfielder we have ever had. His higher level experience shows every time he dons the Lynn shirt. Everything calms down when he has the ball and this allows the others to re-group either in defence or attack.

We are going to miss these players but, as others have said, we must move on as time stands still for no man.

Thank you both for the football you have given.

General Discussion / Re: Stewarding at game v S.Moors
« on: May 28, 2021, 11:09:16 AM »
There appears to be Stewards and Security.

Stewards are Volunteers who man the Gates, checking Tickets, marshalling fans and reminding fans of any restrictions and rules and attempting to enforce said restrictions/rules.

Security are Paid personnel who arrived late on Tuesday Evening, resulting in the Stewards at the Gates not being able to open up on time (1845), wave "Magic Wands" over fans and stand looking important. They are also there to protect players, officials etc. and keep the peace between Home and Away fans (when Away fans are permitted).

The fact that many fans cannot understand simple instructions or purposely infringe those restrictions (standing too close, not wearing masks etc.) is a concern. However, if anyone has a problem with these COVIDIOTS then move away and explain to Stewards/Security why, if they ask.

IMHO I believe you cannot do harm to a willing person (idiot) who catches COVID from someone (another idiot) they were standing too close to who was not adhering to official restrictions.  If this applies to you, the reader, I make no apology.

Now, what should we call the Stand  :dontknow:

I suggest: The Mick Wright Stand.

On Mallardís Cup Final point, I shared his enjoyment, apart from the Neanderthals who booed the taking of the knee, and the commentator trying to talk louder to hide it.

Great day for both teams coming out to cheering fans.

Then, to paraphrase Frank Sinatra, "And then they went and spoilt it all, by doing something stupid, like taking the knee".

As a Season Ticket Holder I shall be there for both games. Nothing like live football vs Stream.

I do realise that we are playing for nothing but physical support is needed at this time to give the players and management to give meaning to their endeavours this Season.

General Discussion / Re: Tennyson car park
« on: May 13, 2021, 10:47:52 AM »
Attelborough Doug is spot on it has got a covernant on the ground and should
only used for football or sport. As for the car park being laid at Hospital End that would
be up to the club not the Council.

I wonder if Stephen Cleeve still has that "illegal" Parking Meter  :dontknow: :laughcry: :laughcry: :laughcry:
