Norwich are Away at Everton so we may pick up some non-travelling fans who might like to see a big(ish) club play Hereford  :laughcry: :laughcry:

The "Make-Up" of the Back Line might well depend on what IC has learnt about Hereford's capabilities of attacking tactics - are they a narrow or wide playing team, stronger on the right or left wing etc.

Who will line up at the Back?        Street - Jones, Barrows, McAuley with Hawkins, Jarvis, Clunan, Richards, Fox and then Henderson, Gash and Marriott. Kelly, Carey, Stewart as preferred Subs getting a decent game time of 30, 20 and 15mins in that order.

Do Lynn try for a strong run in the FA Trophy (make some money in the process) and consolidate a Top 7 spot or throw everything at a tilt at Top Spot?

The game is not a high interest event albeit FA Trophy.

If Hereford were "High Flying" in the League and Lynn were in the mix as well there would be more at stake and a higher Away following.

Bevan Asher brilliant video, thanks. What a game. Both sides going hammer and tongs with some fantastic footwork by all the players. What a build up to Adam Marriott's goal! Pure joy to watch the slick passing and cool control against a very good team. Alex Street made some great saves - thanks Pedro. Chris Henderson works his socks off and you can see why he gets subbed a lot as he must be knackered.

Club statement
November 15, 2019

Following a meeting between the King’s Lynn Town football club safety advisory group and representatives of  the local authorities, including Norfolk Police, a person has been given a banning order from attending all fixtures at The Walks stadium for the remainder of the 2019/ 20 season. This is in relation to an incident that took place during the fixture with Chester, played at The Walks  on Saturday October 12th 2019 and another  incident prior to this date. A second person has also been issued with a ‘ final warning  ‘ letter in relation to events that took place , again during the match with Chester.

During the fixture at Bradford Park Avenue on Saturday November 9th 2019 two King’s Lynn Town supporters were ejected from Bradford’s stadium for incidents that occurred during the first half of the game. These two individuals have been identified by the club and are also (in the process) of receiving ‘ final warning ‘ letters in relation to their actions.  All three persons issued with ‘ final warning’ letters have been told that further repetition of their actions will also result in banning orders from attending all fixtures at The Walks.

The actions of the persons above has seen the club being fined by the Football Association and warned of their future conduct. Indeed an investigation regarding last weekend’s incidents  are still ongoing. It is with all of these factors taken into account  that the club are now adopting a ‘ zero tolerance ‘ stand on such misbehaviour and actions. The club also wishes that all supporters read and are aware of a ‘ safe guarding statement ‘ that appears in every home match programme covering supporter behaviour whilst in the ground.

As a club we value and appreciate your support of the club and team greatly. However we do ask that your support is given correctly and not in a way that could cause offence to others. We will be monitoring  behaviour even more closely from now on, beginning at Southport  on Saturday  ,  to ensure this happens. Further incidents and allegations this season could see serious consequences  for the club in the future.

The club will be making no further comment on this statement.

Sounds like the club need 1,500-1,600 to break even. The quality of football deserves crowds of that size. Fans have a choice: if you want to see the likes of Adam Marriott banging in amazing goals each week, helping Lynn to push on to a higher level or at the very least being competitive at this current one then they ALL need to turn up week in week out. If they don't care and stay away then Lynn won't be able to pay for the quality that they currently have and they'll eventually drift down to step 3 or perhaps lower.
A club is a joint effort between owner, players, manager and fans. The first 3 are clearly doing their bit but more is needed from the latter group.

More Fans = More Fan Effort.

Those that do attend pay their wack, buy coffee/tea, beer, Mars Bar etc. Some have Season Tickets (Me), buy Pitch Squares (Me x 4), Buy 50/50 Tickets (Me x 2per home game) etc. etc.

Others have other financial commitments but attend as often as they can. Can't make them attend.

More Sponsorship is the Answer.

Amongst the travelling fans there should be someone who knows who the ejected persons were.  :dontknow:

In addition to racial abuse there should be a clamp down on the foul abuse hurled at officials as they come off the pitch - a few "you're a disgrace ref" or "you don't know what you're doing" is OK but swearing and screaming in an aggressive manner is not. Thankfully there is a tunnel to protect players and officials but I would like to see a solid/blank tunnel rather than the wire affair at Lynn.

Jarvo up top with Marriott. Barrows right back Jones in Jarvo's spot or play Sam Kelly with Marriott. The latter option would be my preference.

What about either Sonny Carey or Payne with Adam Marriott. Both could be another "Fox in the Box".

Highlights from game:

Sound fades at start of 2nd half, for about 60-90secs but comes back.

Gashy's 2nd yellow looks like he threw BPA player to ground after being hustled.
