Nothing wrong with the back page coverage on the local papers.  I for one think it's awesome....

That's because you play with bigger balls.  :laughcry:

Success and a good Cup run.

Also more posts on this Forum and "the other place" to liven up the interest.  KLTFC also seems to not get the big Headlines Splashes on the back page of Lynn News.

I shall be there on Boxing Day - put my foot down (stamped my little feet). One home game in December apart from Kettering - she's had me chasing around enough every weekend so now it's a bit of "me time".

Part of the problem was the changes to this Forum site. Many are only just coming back to it.

Game re-arranged for Wednesday 3rd February.

I only hope that Cambridge City have the pitch inspected in the afternoon and travelling supporters are kept up to speed well in time to prevent another fiasco.

I guess The lynn team had travelled and arrived looking at the time of the posting.  Why was  a local ref not called in earlier in the day to call it off or otherwise ?  Would have saved the Lynn squad the time and trouble and not least the club the money. Very poor From Cambridge

Totally agree! The grass was quite long and in need of a cut but the mower would have cut the surface to ribbons. The patch of "waterlogged" ground was a bit spongy and about 4 car parking slots in size, located left wing and centre of pitch just where players would run onto pitch. Sidelines were muddy where lino would run. Locals say that the ground is very poor and the slightest bit of rain turns it into a bog. How Cambridge City expect to play that pitch through the Winter I don't know. Two very unhappy fans (and one wife) had a wasted evening - thanks CC.

Bideford caught us out on the break - play 3 x dedicated full-backs, two wing-backs, 3 x midfield and two up front - defence and attack in depth

I shall be away in Bournemouth this weekend, visiting my mum before Christmas. Hopefully I shall be able to follow the game on the live feed - will anyone be travelling to Nantwich that can send updates???

I think that we can get a "result" and either beat them or bring them back to The Walks!

I would rather have 3 or 4 players scoring 12-15 goals each rather than one 20 a season possibility player.

Setch has got an enviable headache what with so many good players and which ones to pick. However, a rotation system might work if those "on the bench" are given enough time to make an impact when they do come on. That would allow players to give their all for 60-70minutes rather than 90. These would be the attacking wing-backs/wingers and main striker. Although "No plan survives first contact with the enemy".

You have have to admire the manager for sticking by Alex I certainly wouldn't. Too many errors too regular.

I feel that yesterday's howler of a goal was the fault of Jordan Yong and Alex Street! Each of them thought the other was going to do something and neither did - easy tap in for the No9 who was putting pressure on. Well done him!

Several times yesterday players were not decisive enough to "go for it".

Lee Stevenson's was also an example where he dithered and didn't get the goal that was on "special offer" with the door wide open.

However, the team pulled their socks up and dominated the game and got they deserved in the shape of a winner.

Jackson then Ross leaving and the need for Ryan to revert to his best position (IMO) created an opportunity for Simon Bird..................Sometimes a problem can create an opportunity?

Agreed, Rod. And what a great job he has done.

There are so many local charities that could benefit from collections at games at The Walks.

Why not a regular "Charity of the Day" where someone (from the chosen charity) could pass the bucket or stand just inside the entrance and take donations?

Any thoughts?
