:scarf: Itís the same every preseason, would have hoped that by now somebody (?SC)
would have realised that by keeping us updated with the happenings at the club it would encourage more interest in the club Having said my bit I am off to  play my fiddle

:scarf: I agree with pc467. KL have always been my team and when away from the area it was always the result I first wanted. Nothing beat watching the teleprinter in the vain hope on a Saturday night that it would appear before the league results were posted.
I am afraid life isnít fair and itís human nature in trying to obtain a special offer or sale bargain whether itís washing powder, new jumper or anything else as we all try to make savings.
If it helps the club out why not join in.

:scarf: Afraid it comes down to accept whatís available and pay for it or go elsewhere or nowhere. If you add travel time and costs other alternatives are not so attractive. So that is the choice amen

:scarf: Itís always been a bit soggy as was the rec where the old swimming pool was.
I can remember one match where at halftime a drain plugs was pulled up near the centre circle and the surface water was swept away before the second half. Players managed then and with the old leather balls not the lightweight balloons they play with now

:scarf: there are other advantages to buying a season ticket I.e.
Not queuing to pay for admission at the ground
Not having to remember or use the internet to pay for a ticket in advance.
No problems with printing a ticket out!
Oh yes I know in advance I cannot attend every home game so I also subside the club as the weekly payers!

Itís the same story with any sport you get those who willingly help whether it be finance, coaching, food etc, however when they leave itís difficult to find someone to fill the gap. When it comes to finances football is expensive and I doubt whether there are any non league proffesional or semi proffesional teams that can survive without some form of sponsorship  or donations.I expect more to disappear including some League 1&2 teams as Bury and Macclesfield did.

Letís hope AL is better at recruitment than the last 2 one who didnít seemingly have a clue or was trodden on by the owner and the other who bought new players in knowing what was needed to retain national league status after being given an extra year but in the long run didnít seem bothered and took a hefty payout from what I understand.

Another team bites the dust thatís 4  with last seasons losses. The powers that be need to realise that if financial help is not fed into non league football more teams will fold. We were lucky last season. One help to reduce costs would be a reorganisation ofthe league structures to cut down travelling and associated costs.

Hargreaves will leave a large hole to be filled. He certainly gave his best. Hopefully heís not gone to the Widdler.

:coffee: Surely the advantage should be given when purchasing said ticket .i.e reduced prices and some sort of discount if displayed when buying refreshments e.g. 10% reduction. Itís marketing but very basic to encourage the cash comes in early.
