 :sinking: Josh Barrett is an enigma. He has a good football brain and can make incredible passes and score outlandish goals. HOWEVER the cons are he is not fit, doesnít bother to get back or try to win a  ball, many a time he plays with the ball trying to impress and losing possession when he could play a ball to fellow player. He seems only to play when it suits him or there is the possibility of a scout or tv to. His talent seems to have dried up this season. Warming up on Saturday imho he seemed as though he was nít that bothered whether he played or not. Is he disenchanted with KL? Has he become an unnecessary cost?
Personally I like to watch a talented player perform but it must benefit the team.
I believe he is out of contract at this season end, sell him now and get some cash back whilst we can

 :sinking:Relegation beckons as the gap for survival has grown. Throwing young men against seasoned players is not working at the walks this season. It may be ok at Step 4 but not 2.
Step 3 will require stricter budget management especially if attendances drop. Recruitment  of part time players that are fit for purpose may be nearly as costly as current wage bill.
If the club folds before the season finishes ,will a phoenix club be step 4 or 5. I wonder how many
of the current disenchanted supporters will have turned their back on the club before then especially after the series of  unimpressive displays we have had to suffer this season thus making financing such a club a unlikely feasibility.

Who cares or feels sorry about M.U they can afford to waste millions on players and pay exorbitant wages. The bubble will burst they will survive,  however I fear for the future of teams outside the elite level especially non league football.

 :sinking: That performance today was an absolute stinker, Darloís goalkeeper could have slung up a hammock and had a sleep as there wasnít much threat from the linnets. This has to be the worst team I have had the misfortune to watch in 60 years Iíve been to the walks.

 :glum: I agree. I would not bring children to watch football at the walks. Too many foul mouthed supporters not just in the
P&T stand but also in the standing area of the stand at the hospital end. They are small minded dinosaurs. I am not woke but find the language unacceptable at times

 Too many idiots in the ground today I wonder if they shout obscenities at the TV when they donít agree with whatís occurring. They are not real supporters and give the club a bad reputation and a probable hefty fine.

 :sinking: Yes itís alright calling for Setch however we have had our eyes opened to football played properly and if S was such a good manager why is he plying his methods leagues below us? How many would turn up to watch punting the ball forward and seeing it return the next.

 :laughcry: 4K against York, 1K were away supporters and if I remember correctly Norwich were away.! Community based football is pie in the sky if you canít find someone to organise it. Yes we should be thankful to SC for his efforts we have been spoilt since he came along. The realisation that apart from 600 or so genuine supporters  who regularly turn up to a game that no-one else really cares if the club folds. This time I fear that if the state of affairs is correct itís gone for good. I feel sorry for the players out of work and other staff. There is no white knight and if you go round town look at the shops and the people shopping there is a lack of money in the town. I ve been a fan since my first match a 4-4 draw v Kettering in the 1950ís. I am not interested in local boot it and rush football at a lot lower level so this may be the end for me.

 :glum: KLTFC is a sinking ship with the current state of affairs. For 5 years us fans have had the luxury of watching a good team of footballers. The hoped for rise in attendance to help finance a strong team has not happened. I think Covid has a lot to blame for this as well as the number of available football matches screened on the TV. SC obviously does not have a bottomless pit of money to finance his dream and I would think reality has  caused disappointment and hence the reduced budget this season. Perhaps the plan is  cling on and hope we stay up, or be realistic and try and get ready for next season in a lower division. I just feel sorry for the new management team and wonder what story and package they were offered.

 :sinking:We need a player shake up after last nights display. The first half was hoof it football which led to the ball being returned very quickly, there was little or no retaining of possession and no man to man passing. The second half improved when Bart was on at one stage we actually managed  to string 7 passes together the best of the night. We are weak at the back asthe two full backs are not up to required needs, we donít have a midfield that can hold or win the ball and there are two forwards who run about a lot but are not goal scorers. Hughes did us no favours afraid and his legacy is leading us to relegation. At least Clunan put hisself about and never dropped his head and we seem to lack his leadership. :banghead;

Even when everyone is fit I still think we need to ďlose some playersĒ and recruit some that are upto the standard required to avoid relegation.

We may have had 10 players from last season however thereís not many times we have managed to field them. We lost both keepers very early on, Crowther and Hawkins have only recently retuned  Ponticelli and young Tommy are currently out injured and now JB is out. So it looks like we wonít be fielding the aforementioned 10 until XMas, or what a mess.
All I want for Xmas is a fit squad of our best players, please Santa!
